[DISCONTINUED] Protector (Zane X Reader) Book 2

A/N: hey guys

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well!

Before I say anything else, I would like to first and foremost apologize.

I hate it when I read fanfiction only to find myself left on a cliffhanger and seeing that the author hasn't updated since they were seven. It's the worst and after a while, I realized I had done that very thing to all of you.

So I'm sorry. I'm truly, deeply sorry, and I hope you guys can forgive me for leaving you high and dry for so long.

If you want a reason for my leaving, it sucks to say, but there really was no reason other than that I grew up.

I moved on to other YouTubers, I fell back in love with anime, I started shouldering real life responsibilities, and I no longer had the time or the motivation to write Aphmau fanfiction any longer.

If diaries had continued, I might've stayed with it, but it hasn't.

This is in no way hate towards Aphmau (Jess), I completely understand that her diaries series requires a lot of time and energy and her audience has slowly changed over the years, and she needs to cater to the majority of her viewers who now watch her for gameplay, and not roleplay. I'm also incredibly happy for her and Jason and I wish them and their family nothing but the best!

Now this would typically be the part where I tell you I'm discontinuing this story.

Right?

Wrong!

While you shouldn't expect an update any time soon, I'm here today to promise you all that, at the very least, before the end of this year, I will finish this story if it's the last thing I ever do, and post every single remaining chapter all at once so you guys can binge the rest of this story and I can finally close this chapter of my life.

I can never thank you all enough for being so kind and checking in on me while I was gone, you're all so incredibly sweet and I'm so happy I got to share my angsty pre-teen years with you all!

I'll post one last A/N when I finish the story, as a little farewell.
