"Are you serious right now mom? You're seriously going to kick me out because I haven't found a mate yet?!"
"Nala you are twenty-three years old and still haven't found yourself a mate!"
I rolled my eyes
"Oh so you think running that stupid flower shop-"
"It's not stupid mom! My flower shop is a beautiful place and I love it."
She was glaring daggers at me
"Listen to me and listen to me good Nala, I'm giving you three days to find yourself a mate and if you don't? Don't even bother coming home because I'm changing the locks"
"Mom what is your obsession with you on me not having a mate?! Oh I'm sorry I'm not a Alpha female like you and have four mates walking around-"
Her hand quickly made contact with my cheek making me fall down onto the floor
"Have some respect for your fathers!"
"They are not my fathers! I-"
She kicked me, sending me rolling down to the wall and then she began running towards me full speed.
"You little shit!"
I curled up as she dug her heel into my side making me whimper out loud.
"How did two Alphas make such a useless Omega! Tch! I've had seven pups and only you came out as an Omega. Look at your siblings. Every single one of them left home, found a job and found a mate. Now look at you, all you have accomplished is having a small flower shop"
She twist her heel deeper into my side
"Okay mom! I get it! Just please stop, you're hurting me.."
"Tch! Now remember what I said!"
She stormed off into her study room. Once the coast was clear, I quickly got up and dusted myself off. Hopefully the pain goes away. I sighed as I left the house to go to open up my shop.
"At least here I'm at peace"
I had a few flower arrangement orders to finish up so I got to it immediately since they are due today.

Oh man I'm finally done with these arrangements, now I'll sweep out front a bit and maybe clean the windows if needed. I went ahead and grabbed the broom then began to sweep out front.
I heard footsteps approaching me from behind as I continued sweeping. Whoever they are stopped right behind me and cleared their throat. I didn't even bother turning around because that's not how you fucking speak to people. I walked over to sweep the corners on the side of the shop to remove the dead leaves.
And this person cleared their throat again but this time louder, as if they're trying to get my attention. I sighed and turned around.
"Sir do you need a cough drop or something? There's a store down the street that can help you with that."
I was getting pissed off because why the fuck does this guy keep clearing his damn throat to get my attention it's annoying as fuck!
"Sorry I was trying to get your attention, I didn't mean to come off that I was sick"
"To get a person's attention you say would miss or sir right? You don't just cough and clear your throat to call some-"
"Anyway, I was wondering if the flower shop is open? I'd like to get some flowers for my mate"
I would've told his ass to go the hell away and that the shop is closed but it's whatever.
"Yes, the shop is open. Let's go inside and see what kind of flowers you'd like."
