The Little Flower Shop

Chapter 7

   I had gotten a full night's rest. Even though I had a replay of that day, I shook it off and made it to the shop to open up.

I smelt Mina's scent and looked over my shoulder, to my surprise she brought breakfast but something felt off...Like she was keeping her distance from me.

"Mina! Good morning, did you buy me breakfast? "

I said as we both walked into the shop.

"Y-yeah but I wanted to apologize.."

"Hm? Apologize for what?"

She sighed and looked down at the floor.

"I wish I could've helped you during your heat cycle but since I'm an Alpha...I couldn't help and instead had to run away."

I plucked her nose lightly, causing her to whimper in pain.

"Hey! What was that for?!"

"Mina it's fine! You made sure that you didn't lose control and ran out. That's a big thing to me, any other Alpha would've lost control."

I said rubbing my elbow as I was walking to the counter

"Nala?"

"Huh?"

"Are you...Someone marked you didn't they?"

"How'd you-"

"His scent is all over you plus you're walking kind of funny."

I sighed in defeat.

"I have no clue who it is"

"What? How do you not know who your mate is?"

"I've never smelt this person's scent before...and as we were mating I couldn't see them either"

"Well Nala I can tell you that it's an Alpha male for sure, only they have those musk sort of smells. I wish I could help you out more but that's all I can pick up from just his scent alone."

I began eating, trying to pinpoint who's scent it could be...but everyone's scent I've smelt before, so it has to be someone new or maybe someone I've never met? Wait could it be that pale guy?! No...can't be.

The door opened which made the bell go off.

"Hello and welcome-"

"G'afternoon Nala!"

Oh it was Taishiro! Eh? Why does he have his hands behind his back? Did he get me something?! Aw how sweet!

"Heh good afternoon Taishiro, it looks like you in a good mood today huh?"

"Of course! Ta-Dah!"

He pulled out a two medium sized box from behind his back and I smiled from ear to ear.

"For me! Aww Taishiro"

Taishiro handed me the boxes and I quickly opened the first one. Inside the box was takoyaki, wow I haven't had these in so long. I took one and ate it.

"Mmm! This is so good!"

Taishiro had a huge smile on his face.

"Ya think so? I made it myself"

"Really?! You should open up a vendor, these will really bring in some money!"

Even Mina agreed with me as she snuck another one into her mouth. I noticed that there are snacks at the bottom of the box too.

"Oh please hehe you're gonna make me blush"

He's so cute.

"Oh how could I forget about the other one"

I quickly opened the other box and there was a nice oversized yellow hoodie that had the letters FGF but the second F was facing the other way. I put it on and it was hella comfortable! It was nice and warm too ugh I could wear this all the time!

"Do ya like it Nala?"

"Like it? I love it!"

"Did you see what was under it?"

"Oh I didn't see anything let me check again"

There was this beautiful necklace at the bottom that had a nice lavender scent to it.

"I can help you put it on if you'd like?"

I handed him the necklace, turned around and lifted up my braids. Once it was on the smell of the lavender made me feel calm.

"I hope this can help you relax a bit. I looked up that lavender can help relax people and can even help you sleep too. I know you're going through a tough time right now, and I wanted to help you out even if it's just a little bit."

I didn't even say anything. I just gave him a hug, I started to tear up too. I was going through a lot right now. Basically being kicked out of my own house, being attacked and then on top of all that I was marked...Even though I should have been on top of my heating cycle, so I can't entirely be surprised that this has happened to me...

I needed more Omegan friends, shit maybe even beta friends just so that someone can help me during those times. Don't get me wrong I'm glad I have Mina but when I'm in heat. She can't even be in the same proximity as me.

So even though I didn't want to tell Taishiro about my whole situation, he still wanted to help me in some shape or form. I really appreciated that a lot, I couldn't tell my mom or even my siblings about me being marked like this.

They wouldn't even see what the big deal is. They would tell me that I should be happy that I finally have a mate, and to basically go look for him. Sigh my family are such assholes...

"It's okay Nala I'm here for ya"

Taishiro said as he was rubbing my back. I looked up at him with tears running down my cheeks, he looked down at me with a comforting smile as he wiped the tears off

"Thank you"

I said in between sniffles.

"Why not close the shop for a little vacation?"

Mina announced

"Close the shop?"

"Yeah you told me you have had this shop for about four years now, even on the shop's door it says that you're open seven days out the week and even open on holidays. I think a vacation is most definitely needed for you!"

"I mean I guess you're right Mina"

Mina's right I've been open everyday since I've opened this place up, no matter what day it was my shop was open. So I'll do just that and take a vacation; maybe a little getaway!

"Let's go to Kuv springs!"

Mina shouted excitingly.

"What's that?"

"It's an all inclusive spa and resort! I'll call up some of my old friends to come and you call yours!"

I nodded at her. Sounds like a plan to me, I already have a bag packed and ready to go.

"Let's go in two weeks, that'll give me enough time to plan everything out!"

She cheered

"Alright Mina!"
