The Little Flower Shop

Chapter 14

                     Time skip to three months later

Shinso and I were having a grand opening of the new flower shop! He even had it set up where I had giant scissors to cut the red ribbon, to welcome in the new customers. Not gonna lie, I honestly didn't think I'd have so many customers waiting outside to buy flowers.

Me and Shinso were getting to work with all these orders, it's a good thing I taught Shinso how to make bouquets and also had some already premade. Only problem we were having is that now they were starting to order things in bulk. I should've been a little more prepared for that, but it seems that by the end of the day we were already low on inventory.

Shinso came over and handed me a cold water bottle once.

"You did great today Nala!"

I smiled and then guzzled down the water till there was nothing left.

"Ugh thank you so much"

I said as I plopped down on the high chair by the register.

"Heh no problem, since it's ten minutes to closing. Did you know what you wanted to eat after?"

"Hm maybe we should just get some pizza and call it a night"

"Sounds good to me"

The pup jumped onto my lap and nuzzled itself into my chest.

"What's wrong?"

"Mommy I don't feel so good.."

I placed my hand onto the pups head and he was a little hot, nothing to be alarmed about.

"Aw It's seems like you're running a little fever, c'mon let's go home."

"Go ahead and head out first Nala I'll clean and close up shop."

I smiled and held the pup as I got up from my seat.

"Alright Shinso I'll see you later"

We kissed each other goodbye and I left to go home.

After a long taxi ride home we finally made it, I grabbed my keys and opened the door then locked it behind me. Kicking off my shoes after being on my feet all day felt amazing! I gently laid the pup down onto the couch as I took my jacket off.

I made some instant noodles for the pup after giving it a bath and some medicine for that fever before it gets any worse.

"Mommy can I sleep with you tonight?"

"Of course you can"

The pup wagged their tail and I smiled.

"But you have to finish this soup up okay?"

"Okay!"

I placed the cup of noodles on the floor for him to eat.

"Be careful it's hot okay? Mommy's gonna go shower"

The pup nodded

I went into the bathroom, showered and brushed my teeth. I went into the kitchen and cleaned up behind the pup, I knew he'd make a mess.

After cleaning up the mess the pup made, I quickly made myself something to eat and headed off to bed. I cuddled up next to the pup and I was out like a light.

                                             5:12AM

I woke up in a cold sweat and gently got out of bed not wanting to wake the pup up then took a quick hot shower. Once I got out I then made a chicken broth for the pup to drink when he woke up.
