The Little Flower Shop

Chapter 9

       Taishiro went at it for five rounds, each round was in a different position. Somehow we made it to my room for the last round.

As of right now we're both snuggled up together and I couldn't be any more happier. He's so soft and cuddly.

"Nala are you hungry?"

"Hm? Oh no I'm good"

My stomach growled and he chuckled.

"C'mon let go grab something to eat!"

We both got up but I whimpered at sharp pain in my shoulder.

"Nala what's wrong?"

"Is there something on my shoulder? It kind of hurts."

"Oh...I-its my mark...I marked you, I have a big mouth so it's a bigger mark than usual."

"Your...my Alpha now?"

He smiled shyly and I hugged him.

"I'm glad it's you!"

"Y-you are? I thought you'd be mad at me"

"Mad at you? Why would I be mad at you?"

I thought about it and I forgot that I do have another bite mark on me...

"If it's about the other mark, don't worry about that. I don't know who that mark came from."

He turned away from me and got up off the bed...was I wrong about that? We've been going on dates every other day, I would rather him be my mate than anyone else. There's something he's not telling me..but what could it be.

Taishiro put his clothes on, I hopped out the bed and just threw on the yellow oversized sweater he got me with some shorts underneath.

It was late as is, so I didn't think anyone would be at the cafeteria anyway. As we made it.

"Ah good no one is here!"

We both said in unison then we laughed

"I see we both had the same thing in mind huh?"

I nodded my head as I just picked up a bowl of ramen and sat down. Taishiro came moments later with two dinner plates worth of takoyaki. Wow he must love takoyaki heh.

"So now that we're mates....will you tell me the truth of what's going on with you?"

I sighed

"Fine I'll tell you"

I stopped eating and looked at him.

"So I was kicked out of my house because I didn't have an Alpha...My mom has always been harsh on me for quite some time about it, but this time she was more violent. However I was more focused on running the shop, and trying to get myself out of debt to even think about having a mate. Well more like it wasn't on my mind really."

I said shrugging my shoulders.

"Then some weird Alpha came along to my flower shop and wanted twenty bouquets of roses and paid me in a briefcase of money. I was scared at first when I opened the briefcase, because it was a lot of money honestly. I took the briefcase to the bank and they took it!

 I was able to pay off the loan, any debt and even pay two months of rent on the shop. Then I still have money left over but then that's when that Alpha came back...Now he was determined for me to become his second mate, for what reason? I don't have the slightest clue"

Sigh

"Now a deathly pale man came to my aid and got that Alpha off on me but...I told him prior that I'll do anything as long as he'll help me. Then at the snap of his fingers they both disappeared from the shop"

"Is that who marked you?"

"In all honesty, I don't have the slightest clue who was the one that marked me first. When that happened I was in heat and my vision was a blur. I only know them based on that Alpha's scent and that's it."

Taishiro looked like he was in deep thought.

"And you don't have any clue of who it might be?"

"No not at all"

I sighed out in defeat.

"Hmm interesting, so as of right now you are homeless?"

I nodded my head yes as I continued to eat my ramen.

"Why not just live with me then?"

I started choking on a noodle, I grabbed a cup of water and chugged it down.

"What?!"

He looked at me with a blank look on his face.

"Yeah why not? You're my mate it would only make sense ya'know"

"I-I mean yeah I-"

Taishiro kissed my forehead and then kissed my lips.

"Don't worry Nala, I'll protect you no matter what."

He said as he gave me a reassuring smile.

"Alright Taishiro heh I'll move in with you"
