The boys rushed out of the house.
"Uh, thank you for everything but we have to go now!" Alwenn spurted out his words anxiously.
"Is there anything wrong?" Tharia asked.
"No, we just-"
"GET AWAY FROM IT!" a shout was heard in the distance.
"Adri!"
Tharia rushed to see what was going on at the temple. There were two dark entities roaming around Adri's flower. The moment they saw her, they rushed towards her.
"Adri, run!"Tharia threw a potion bottle on the ground that made a cloud of smoke pop into the air. It slowed the ghosts down but not for long.
The boys were watching as the actions unfolded.
"Alwenn, you have to help them."
"But I can't leave you! You might get hurt!"
"Or I might hurt you. Go already!"
The younger pushed him before falling to the ground, trembling in pain. Alwenn didn't have time to think. He left him there and rushed to the temple.
The girls were trying to protect themselves from the evil entities. One of them went back towards the flower.
"NO! Adri screamed in terror and followed it to protect her plant."
"Adri, come back here!"
"Hey ghosts! It's me you want" Alwenn hoped to distract them.
The spirit moved away from Adri, who was covering the plant with her body, and flew towards the two standing on the ground.
Alwenn stretched an arrow and aimed
"They're spirits! Arrows won't hurt them! Tharia repeated Saka's words from earlier.
"I know. But they've been soliders before. They will get scared."
"Here."*pana aici am editat lmao*
Tharia quickly handed Alwenn a potion bottle.
-Dip your arrows in this.
Alwenn did as she said, then aimed for one of the ghosts. As the arrow flew towards the spirit, it didn't go through it like the last time, but it stayed there, as if it was (înfiptă) in flesh. The ghost screamed in pain.
-Yes! the team acknowledged their success.
But their victory smile suddenly disappeared when they saw the other ghost enter the temple.
-YOU CAN'T ENTER THERE! Adri shouted, still protecting her flower.
-Go get it out. I'll take care of the other one, Tharia said.
Alwenn entered the temple. Arched his now magic arrow and waited for the ghost to appear. Looks like it saw what had happened to the other one and rushed to defend itself. It pops up in Alwenn's back and whacks his (tolbă) of arrows to the ground. Now he couldn't defend himself with anything but a singme arrow and his magic. He chose to save the arrow. As the ghost rushed towards him, he began to shoot purple light trails from his hands. Some hurt the ghost, some didn't and hit the walls of the temple harshly which caused it to start becoming unstable.
But Adri was on top of the temple. (If it fell, they would both die.)
The ghost Alwenn was fighting was stronger than the first one they encountered. It couldn't die with a simple protection spell. So Alwenn's plan was to extenuate it and then use the arrow to shoot it right to the core. The problem was, the temple was almost collapsing.
-Adri! Get off there! It's gonna fall!
-It can't fall! No!
-Adri please! I beg you! Come down!
As Tharia fought the ghost until it evaporated, the walls were slowly (prăbușieau)
Tharia went up to grab Adri and bring her down, (in ciuda) of her cries, almost dying in the process, but succeeding. The both fell to the ground.
-Purple boy is still in there!
Alwenn made the ghost follow him to the exit of the building. As the ghost was exiting, he fired his last shot. The ghost vanished and the temple collapsed above it.
All three of them were sitting on the ground, watching as the temple was falling in front of them.
Adri couldn't hold her tears as they rushed out of her eyes.
After the mess was over, Adri rushed to the ruins to search for her flower. She digged for it hopelessly. Until she found its remainings. She held them close to her heart. And the two elves couldn't help but look at her in pity. They didn't understand why she loved that plant so much. But they could clearly see that she was suffering.
-Where is your friend?
Alwenn froze.
-Saka.
He rushed back towards the little house, just to find it also completely demolished, just like the temple. And Saka was nowhere.
-Crap! I knew I shouldn't have left him alone! SAKA!
As the girls followed him, they covered their mouths with their hands when seeing the house was gone.
Alwenn was desperately searching through the ruins.
-Help me! he said.
The girls started searching too. Alwenn was almost tearing up (but in a cool way).
-No. I can't lose him. I promised his mom that I-
-Chicken wing chicken.
Suddenly the prince showed himself from behind a tree.
-Saka oh my fucking goddess!
Alwenn stopped searching and turned around awkwardly. Then hugged him without hesitation. But he quickly started scolding him right after that.
-I told you! We shouldn't have separated!
-Yeah but it's a good thing that we did because I didn't hurt you. Are y'all okay? he asked the girls. Sorry for the house by the way. I can pay for it.
-It's okay. We're glad you're not hurt. But what exactly happened here? Ever since you guys came here, everything started collapsing.
-It's because of the bad spirit! Adri said.
Alwenn sighed.
-I think we owe you an explanation.***
-So you're the prince of On'Svalor?
-Yes. Prince Sakandir Othorion Faelar Thallan. Also known as Saka for short.
They were sitting on a fence (Alwenn Saka Tharia Adri)
-Do you not like your name?
-Well, the boy scratched his head, it's kinda long and royal. Saka fits me better.
Saka never fit the regular prince standard. He was never eager to tell people that he was a prince. Among the life he lived, he only liked to have fun and live a simple life.
-Now prince Sakander Oleander, Tharia said with a frustrated smile. How the duck did you break our house down?
-Well, and I'm sorry again by the way, I'm cursed.
He explained them everything about the curse. The book, the spell, the elf under the city and the breakdowns.
-So the soul of Aoora...is in you?
-Yeap.
The two girls looked at eachother, eyes widened. Then looked back at Saka.
-What?
-They found out an ancient d*mon is currently possesing you. Just give them a moment, Alwenn told him.
-Let me see if I got this. So you want a Di'alorian wizard to cure...this! Tharia asked.
-Yes. Well I want him to try it at least.
-Well, good luck with that. Because I don't think it's gonna work, the lab girl said.
-Why not?
-You see...I don't know how you did what you did to cast that spell upon yourself, or if I believe you at all, but hoping that a simple wizard from a village could cure it? Man that is one hopeful guy.
-Oh thanks for the compliment!
-It wasn't a compliment.
-Alkanzur is a good old friend of mine. I know what he can do. And I trust him. If anyone could cure such thing, that'd be him, Alwenn said confidently. I hope.
-There's only one way to find out.
-Are you coming with us? the prince asked.
-Well the thing is someone kinda ruined our house.
-And our temple, Adri added.
-So we don't have anywhere to stay. We might as well go on a little trip with the one that did it.
-That's great! Saka bursted with excitement. The more, the merrier, the better.
-And the more chances of chaos! All four of them were waiting for Adri. She was planting a new seed that she had found inside the remainings of the dead flower.
-In honor of a new beginning, she said. Then put her hands over the soil to send her positive thoughts, so that she would hopefully receive the same energy back along their way. Then she joyfully joined the team.
