A few minutes later, the group arrived at the hospital who had already been informed by Nurse Flood that Penny was badly injured and needed immediate attention
Once they had arrived, the crew quickly got Peny settled in her own room before the doctors and nurses came into the room and began to assess her. Sam was asked to leave the room while Helen helped the others help Penny
"Hello, are you Samuel Jones?" One of the doctors asked him walking out of the room
"Yes, thats me" He responded standing up
"We have a form for you to fill in if thats ok, it's just about Penny's details" he replied
"Of course, i think i know most of them" he said as he was handed the clipboard
"Right-
Full name- Penny Amelia Morris
DOB- 21/09/1993
Family- "Wait, does Penny Even have any family- oh wait, i think she told me that they all died in a fire if i remember"- "Family-N/A"
Sam knocked on the door and handed the form back as the doctor nodded
"Right, Miss Morris has sustained a broken rib, arm and has a severe loss of blood" Sam merely nodded "Can i see her"?
"No, i'm afraid miss Morris will be going into surgery, she will be our in a few hours." he replied as he went back to prep Penny for surgery
A few hours later, Sam was in Penny's room waiting for her to return when he heard a door open, it had Penny laying on the bed still unconscious "Is she going to be ok?" Sam asked
"Yes, Pennys injuries were bad but she will be as good as new in no time" Helen returned. Sam breathed a sigh or relief at this
"However, we suspect that Penny may be in a coma..."
Those words hung in the air, Sam could not process it all
"W-what do you mean" he asked
"During the fall, something hit her head extremely hard causing her brain to just shut down. We don't know when she will wake up at all so we are keeping her heart" Helen responded. Sam couldn't accept it tho, this was Penny, the woman he lov-liked as a friend,
"Pull it together Samuel" he muttered to himself "Penny needs you" Sam sat by penny's bed and gently squeezed her hand tightly.
"Don't stay away too long Penny"
