A couple of weeks later, Penny had fully recovered and was returning to work for the first time in months. Elvis had made her a chocolate cake to welcome her back knowing that it was her favorite.
"Ok, who's moved the book '' Penny said, raising her eyebrows- if there was one rule in the station, it would be to not mess with Penny's books. Sam crept behind her "Looking for this?" he teases her
"Very funny sam" she giggled
While the crew were eating, Sam and Penny could not stop looking at each other, they felt a connection but couldn't understand it.
After all the team had eaten, Penny had seen that Sam had just left, that wasn't like him
"Hey, Sam, are you alright" she asked nudging her friend in the side
"Yeah, i'm good"
"What's bothering you then, tell me" she said softly
Its now or never samuel
"Penny, you are the most beautiful, intelligent and fierce woman I know, will you go out with me and be my girlfriend?" Sam asked
Penny nodded excitedly "you don't know how long i've waited for you to ask that" she smiled,
Without Warning, he quickly picked her up while spinning her in the air before kissing her on her soft lips. The pair however were unaware of the others that were lurking around
"I knew this would happen eventually" Arnold said
"Their cute together tho" Ellie said aa the other agreed and watched Sam and Penny kiss. The pair were only broken up by the sound of the fire bell went off
"Norman price is stuck in the mountains" Elvis announced over the speaker
"Well, just another day in Pontypandy, aye Sam" Penny grinned at her new boyfriend as they sid down the pole
And it was after all of that that they both relied that they had been solemates and had both found 'the one'
