Sam's quest for love

5 days later

A few days after, Sam was visiting Penny in the afternoon as Ellie and Elvis had gone in the morning

"Y'know, it's been pretty quiet without you with us Penny, the place just isn't the same" Sam sighed as he graced her still face with the back of his knuckles "I don't know what's happening to you right now but i want you to know that you can do this Penny, your the most bravest and fierce person i know, and i can't bear to live without you in my life" he sighed

Sam just decided to stop talking for a while and hold her hand tightly in his, she looked so peaceful, like a child sleeping.

"The Cafe is now properly repaired tho i dont think that you will be going in there anytime soon" Sam chuckled " I'm so sorry, i should have done the report myself and not got you to do it, it should be me in this hospital bed, not you, you don't deserve any of this Penny" he said looking at all the machines she was connected to

Sam couldn't resist this opportunity but he also had to tell her, she looked so beautiful like an angel it was amazing, in Sams eyes she was perfect in every way

"Penny, i don't know if you can hear what i'm saying. But. I want you to know, you have been the most amazing person in my life and don't know what i would do without you, you have helped me in so many more ways than you can image and i- I love you Penny Morris and there is nothing i would not do for you" he smiled before planting a few small kisses on her nose

However, unknown to Sam was that Penny could hear everything, although she had no control over her body, she took in what he had just said "he-he loves me? But why" she thought to herself. If she ever woke up she would ask him about it,

A few days later, Penny was still in her coma however she still knew what was going on around her. She could feel herself slowly slipping out of her coma. As she felt a hand, she immediately knew it was Sam, Penny tried her hardest until finally "S-sam?" she managed to say a word before opening her eyes and looking the man she loved in his eyes, oh how she misses him

"Penny!! You're awake!!" Sam jumped up excitedly

"L-looks that way" she remarked sarcastically "What happened?"

"Do you not remember Penny?"

"I remember the fire, and the collapse. Yes! The building collapses!" Penny exclaimed

Sam let out a sigh of relief knowing that she still knows however parts of him just didn't want her to know

Penny smiled at the man as she squeezed his hand tightly as of she never wanted to let go, she didn't want to let go but she would have to eventually

"How long was it out for?" she questioned the older an

"5 days" sam told her sheepishly

"5 Days!?"

"Yes Penny,you were in a coma"

"No! No, I was just sleeping!" she protested

"Shh, shh,shh" sam silenced her with the grin on his lips as he places a finger on Penny's lips in an attempt to silence her but with little success as she laughed causing Sam to laugh
