"I love it. Thank you," I said. "I love you," I added. He kissed me and pulled away.
"Why can't you buy me stuff like that?" Dixie whispered to Noah.
"We just recently started dating, though," he said.
"Still..."
We got to the show the next day and I sat across from him.
"So... Let's start off with the simple question everyone wants to know. Are you single?" David asked and everyone laughed.
"I actually have a boyfriend and he's sitting next to my sister," I said and everyone poked at Calvin who waved.
"Is that a ring he gave you?"
"Yes. He got me this promise ring yesterday, actually." I was asked simple questions and got deeper into my life.
"So you lost you mom at a really young age, correct? How old were you?"
"I was 12," I said.
"And how was school life after that? Do you remember her?"
"I was old enough to remember her. I kept going to school, but I did take days off for that year because I was still pretty upset. I was with her my entire life and just knowing that she wouldn't be there to see me grow up was what was the worst. I never actually talk about this. Um... But I actually got made fun of when I would finally come to school. There was a bring your parent to school day and I couldn't bring anyone because I never knew my dad and didn't have my mom. Everyone really thought I was completely alone and-"
"When was this?"
"Middle school. So a year came around and I was actually living with the D'amelio family at that time. One day, the child services came over and said I couldnt live with them and had to move to an orphanage. But they didn't want to give me over. So in ten minutes they decided to just adopt me. So if it weren't for any them, I wouldn't be where I am now. Excuse middle school had brought my confidence to nothing and they honestly just hyped me up and now I'm confident enough to be out here."
"And the kids who bullied you? What happened to them?"
"Funny story, actually, they came around while I was on tour with my friends. They said they were my friends and just wanted to be in my life again."
"So you got the last laugh," David said and I smiled.
"Yeah, I really did," I said.
"And was it a struggle to get through all that?"
"Yes, But life is kind of like a mountain. On the way up, you can either sing or complain that your feet hurt. I chase to sing. No pun intended."
"So let's move on to some recent friends of yours."
"Yeah, sure," I smiled.
"Harry Styles recently wrote a song for you?"
"Yes. He hit me up and told me I should create an album and he wanted to write the ending song so I agreed."
"Have you gotten close with him?"
"Yeah. I'm close with all the ex One Direction boys," I nodded.
"And you've seen his stage performances right?" David asked. "What's that like?"
"Yeah. I have. It's kind of a constant worry. He actually invited me backstage for one of his performances and I obviously went. So for all of those who are huge fans, they know that Harry has asthma. In the middle of one of his songs, he collapsed and was completely out of air. He still just picked himself up and brought the energy that everyone was radiating."
"What's your favorite memory with him?"
"He got drunk, rode a mechanical bull, and complained about physical activity when we went to a club," I said and everyone laughed. "I have an entire 10 minute video of it on my phone."
"What are you doing at a club?"
"It was just a casual hang out kind of thing." We talked for an hour and then the interview ended. I got to leave and he talked to me in the back.
"You're a strong young girl. Keep fighting," he smiled and pet my shoulder.
"Smart ass," Dixie muttered as she walked past me. Calvin hugged me and I smiled.
"Hi," I said.
"Hi," he kissed my cheek. "Are you busy later?"
"No. Why?"
"I wanna cuddle," he said and I smiled.
"Sure." We all went to the car and went to the hotel. Calvin and I went to our room and everyone came with us. Calvin and I cuddled on the bed and everyone just sat around.
"Ooh! I got a photo shoot to be on a page of a magazine," Dixie said.
"Nice," everyone said.
"Why don't you do photo shoots?" Calvin asked me.
"Because I get busy. I can, though," I said.
"We should do a couples shoot."
"I can set that up when we get home." Calvin threw his arm over me and I smiled.
"Cute," Charli said.
We went back to LA and I got a photo shoot. It was for both of us and we went to the beach for the shoot. I had on booty shorts and a strapless bra with a shite flannel over it. Calvin had jeans and a white shirt. We had a cute little photo shoot and then he wanted to do a separate one for his Instagram of just him. I did a professional one as a joke of just me and of course that ended up on the front of Vogue magazine as the hottest new fashion. Calvin and I also had a page inside of cutest new couples. Dixie got mad and announced that she and Noah were dating, but that didn't get added into the magazine. I got home from the studio one day and Calvin was waiting in my room.
"Hi," I smiled and kissed him. "What's up?" I grabbed a hoodie from the closet.
"I have something for you," Calvin said.
"Really?" I asked and took my shirt off. I didn't mind changing in front of him and neither of us considered it weird. He changed in front of me sometimes too.
"Mh-Hm. Close your eyes." I did and he put something Cecil's on my wrist. "Open." I did and there was a cute bracelet.
"Aww," I smiled. "I love it."
"Good." Calvin hugged me and kissed the top of my head. "I love you."
"I love you too."
"Hey, um... Dixie came over to the Hype house earlier and told me to tell you she wants to talk to you."
"Okay. I'll call her later. I've had a long day."
"Oh, yeah. Didn't you have to babysit or something?"
"Mh-Hm. Louis' son Freddie came with me to the studio then Louis picked him up and Liam dropped off Bear. I got work in too." I collapsed on the bed and Calvin laid down next to me.
"Tough. Ask me to help you next time."
"You were busy with filming with Patty."
"So? I can always come help you out. You're 18 and already do so much."
"You can help me by cuddling with me and watching a movie."
