"Wow, you really care about me, Char," I laughed and she hugged me.
"Of course. You're the person I vent my problems to."
"I'm also the one who has about 30 million followers less than you." She laughed and walked away. I walked to the roof and made a TikTok with Jack. We were both high energy and matched each other.
"Wanna make a TikTok?" Calvin asked me.
"I guess I can be nice for 15 seconds," I said and we danced. He posted it and smiled.
"Yes! I'm getting clout!" He said and walked off. I went home later and had set a prank for Calvin. We heard him scream as we were leaving.
"What did you do?" Charli laughed.
"I put pink dye in his body wash," I laughed. I got home and DMed Calvin.

C: Hey. You won't believe my day.
Me: Ooh, tell me.
C: This bitch came over and dyed my body wash pink
Me: So like a pig?
C: Don't compare me to a pig.
Me: I think pigs are cute :)
C: Okay. 20 questions?
Me: That's so cliche.
C: Okay, do you have any pets?
Me: Yes. I have a dog. You?
C: My friends have cats. But I don't have any pets. Do you send nudes?

I turned my phone off and slept for the night.
We went to the Hype House in the morning and I was sitting on the roof when Calvin sat next to me.
"How're your texts with Daphne going?" I asked.
"That's you?" He asked and I smiled.
"Here's advice though. Keep it in your pants just a while longer until you meet the person." He stormed away and I knew he was getting ready for a prank. He didn't do anything while I was there and gave me glares before I left. I was hanging out with Haden the next day and he came over to me.
"Do you know who Calvin Goldby is?" He asked.
"Yeah, why?" I asked.
"He photoshopped a pic of me kissing you, but then replaced you with someone else to make it look real. It's all over TikTok room. Look. You remember when we went here?" He showed me and was really pissed off. "You have to know I wouldn't cheat on you."
"I know. I know you wouldn't. I'm having a prank war with him and I DMed him as a girl named Daphne and now he did this as payback." Haden and I drove to the Hype House and went to the roof where Calvin was going live.
"Oh, look, the guy who cheated," the others said.
"If you fucking try to destroy our relationship, I will beat the shit out of you! Do you understand me?" Haden shoved Calvin.
"What is wrong with you, Calvin?" I asked.
"I get you have a prank war with my girl! But you take something too far and she tells me or I find out, I will roundhouse your ass. Do you fucking hear me?" Haden yelled at him.
"Yes! Jeez!" Calvin yelled.
"Hey! Back off," Thomas pushed Haden.
"Tell me how you'd feel if someone tries to break you up with your girlfriend! So don't you dare fucking tell me to back off!" Haden came to me and pulled me to the car. It was all on TikTok room and everyone was hating on Calvin. Haden went with Heidi, Marc, Charli, Dixie, and I to the Hype House the next day and I completely ignored everyone but them.
"Aren't you gonna talk to me?" Calvin asked me as I was sitting with Haden, Marc, and Heidi at the counter.
"Maybe you should leave her alone, kid," Marc said, trying to be nice.
"You really are so stupid! You think you can hide behind your boyfriend. You're adopted! I'm surprised that someone actually wanted you! I bet your mom left you at birth because she realized you were the mistake you are! You just want clout from Charli and Dixie!"
"Bro, watch what you say to her!" Haden said.
"See! She's probably using you too!"
"You don't know her at all! Walk away!" Heidi snapped and Calvin left.
"I'll take her home," Haden said and we left. Fletcher was at the front and wanted to question me, but we both walked away quickly. We got home and I calmed down. So did Haden. "He makes my blood boil. He knows nothing about you and just makes assumptions." I nodded and sighed.
"I'll get over it at some point," I said and he hugged me.
"I'm sorry, Kayli," he said.
"It's okay." He left after Heidi and Marc came back. They came in and I was laying down in bed.
"Hey, honey. You okay?" Heidi asked.
"Don't listen to him. He won't matter in the future," Marc said.
"I'll get over it. I was stupid to think that no one would bring that up anymore. I stayed a secret for a long time and was just their friend for a while. But now one knows my background," I said.
"Hey, it's okay. You never know what people will do," Heidi said.
"Thanks for being here for me," I hugged them.
"Now will you start calling us mom and dad?" Marc asked.
"You want me to?"
"Of course," Heidi smiled.
"I was going to, but I wasn't sure. Thanks, mom and dad," I smiled and they left.
I didn't go to the Hype House for a week, then finally went when Charli and Dixie did. I was on the roof drinking Dunkin. I got a mix of random things and it was really good.
"Hey, Kaylianne?" Calvin came over and I looked at him. "I'm sorry for blurting all that out," he said.
"It's okay. I know you don't know about anything," I said and he sat next to me.
"What's the story?" He asked and I was quiet for a minute, staring into nothing.
