He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. I shook since I was scared and he looked me in the eyes. "Just let me talk to you." I nodded slightly and he started. "It was a mistake that never should have been announced. Okay? Alex never should have kept that in his video and it was private stuff. I shouldn't have done that in the first place, which is the main thing too. You're 18 and it made you uncomfortable. I'm sorry about that. So please forgive me, Kayli," he said. "Please. It won't happen again."
"Okay," I said. "Okay," I nodded. "I forgive you."
"And I'm gonna tell you something else, okay? You mean a lot to me." I gave a confused look and he sighed. "You're important." I was still confused. "Ugh! Come here!" He kissed me all of a sudden and held on. "I like you," he said when he pulled away. "I know I seem like a predator because of what happened, but I promise I'm not. Do you think you know your feelings yet?"
"I like you too, Calvin," I sighed and hugged him.
"Thank you," he said and hugged me back. I let go and sat back down in a chair. "I promise I won't do it again." I nodded as he stood in front of me.
"Good," Dad said and we looked to see him and mom watching. "Let's talk," he told Calvin who quietly followed him away. They came back a bit later and Calvin sat next to me. The parents left and I looked down. Calvin sighed and I quickly got up and hugged him, standing between his legs. He slowly wrapped his arms around my waist and pet my back.
"I have to head home," Calvin whispered. I nodded and let go. He went home and I went over the next day. Tana was over and pulled me into Alex's room.
"We're pranking Calvin," he whispered. "Put this on in the bathroom." I did and it was a bra, thong, and fishnets with a black oversized windbreaker. I liked it to be honest, and heard Calvin walk into the room. Tana was wearing a red version of mine and sitting on the bed.
"Hi, Calvin," she flirted.
"No! Guys, stop. I have a girlfriend!" Calvin said and I walked out.
"Hi, Calvin," I said and his jaw dropped as Alex filmed between us.
"No!" Calvin shoved me back into the bathroom. "Change," he whispered to me and I did. I walked back out and people were drinking White Claws in the room.
"Hide the alcohol around the kid," Ryland said and I gave him a look. I took one from the fridge and a few of them were shocked.
"Damn, leave me alone," I said.
"So this is Calvin and Kayli," Alex filmed as I sat next to Calvin.
"Hi," we said.
"They're gonna kiss."
"No."
"Okay," he turned to the side and Calvin quickly kissed me. But Alex quickly turned back and caught it.
"Don't put that in," we both said.
"Why not?" Alex asked.
"Please, Alex? Don't put it in," I said and he nodded, walking away. I stayed for the night and Calvin let me into his room. He gave me a hoodie and I put it on. I took off my top under it and did the splits on the bed. Calvin eyed my butt, but I was wearing shorts.
"Ew!" He said. "Outside clothes on my bed." I got up and went over to him.
"Prefer that I take it off?" I asked and he blushed. I pulled them off and walked back to the bed. I looked over my shoulder and moved the back of the hoodie up, so it showed my butt. I got on the bed on all 4's and watched him.
"Second day of us dating, Kayli," he smiled. "And you're already fucking turning me on." I laughed and lied down. Calvin got in next to me and put his arm around me.
"Hey, Calvin?" I asked.
"Hm?"
"The reason I don't wanna announce us so quickly is because I just wanna take my time after Haden."
"I know. I completely understand."
I went home in the morning and Charli, Dixie, Mom, and Dad went shopping and said they'd be back late at night. That gave me free time. I was in a hoodie and leggings when the bell rang. I opened the door to find Khalid and Benny Blanco.
"Hi? Come in," I said.
"Are you Kaylianne Ford?" Khalid asked.
"Yes."
"Is anyone else here?"
"Not at the moment. Why?"
"6 Months ago you sent me a voice recording in a DM of you singing and said you wanted to be in a song of mine."
"Oh, my God. That was a joke. I-I was half drunk," I said.
"We want you to do a song with us," Benny said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah. You seem chill.'
"Of course."
"Before that. How old are you?" Khalid asked.
"18."
"Perfect. Don't need any adult approval. We have the plans for the song. Can we sit and talk it through?" Benny asked.
"Yeah," I nodded. I shut the door and took them to the dining table. We sat and they sat on either side of me. It took about 5 hours to plan everything and come up with ideas.
"We should get going. But hold onto these song and don't lose it. We'll come by tomorrow. Does that work?" Khalid asked.
"Yes." They left and everyone got back 20 minutes later. "Hi," I smiled at them.
"Where you headed to?" Dad asked.
"Oh, I'm just putting something in my room," I said and went upstairs. I kept the song safe and went back down after dinner was ready.
The next day, I went downstairs and ate breakfast.
"Hey, mom, is it okay if a couple people come over today?" I asked.
"Do we know them?" She asked.
"Somewhat. Not personally," I said.
"Okay. Sure."
"Thanks." That's when the bell rang. "That's them." She smiled and Charli, Dixie, dad, mom, and I went to the door. I opened it and Khalid and Benny walked in.
"Oh, my God!" Charli squealed.
"Hi," Benny waved to them all.
"Can we take her out later after we have a small talk?" Khalid asked.
"Sure," dad said. We sat at the dining table and I pulled out the song.
"Do you have a manager?"
"Yeah. But they're very demanding," I said.
"We'll get you a new manager," Khalid said. "But you have to read through this and sign it for that." I read it and signed. They took me to a studio where I got a new manager and he was amazing.
"Hi, I'm Cameron," he smiled. "And I'm 100% gay." He shook my hand and I smiled.
"Kayli," I said.
"Okay, we'll start by testing your vocals. Just go in for a test of the song and see how it is."
