Long ago, in a time before princesses Etheria was ruled by five goddesses. Petra the goddess of nature, Anahita the goddess of water, Aurora the goddess of the sun, Oriella, goddess of life and Portia goddess of the moon and darkness. After centuries of serving Etheria, some of the Goddesses began to get sick of their chores and wanted more power. They believed they were too important to be doing peasant work. Portia took advantage of these beliefs, and twisted their minds. Eventually she managed to manipulate the goddess of water into doing her dirty work. Together they killed off the goddess of nature, and when the remaining goddesses saw how much of a threat they were a war started. Aurora and Anahita were destroyed and Oriella and Portia duelled. Oriella knew she had to destroy them so she took Portia's powers away and absorbed them. And before she killed them both she formed the princesses so they could look after Etheria when they were gone.  She then created a beam of light from inside her chest which destroyed them, and after Etherian's began giving birth to daughter with extraordinary powers, and destinies greater than anyone could imagine...
