Chapter 2

Well it's 9am which means it's time to check out my new school , I awkwardly made my way down the stairs and past my dad " you leaving ?" He shouted from the kitchen " um yeah I don't want to be late ... you know .. my first day " I stuttered while pulling my bag further up my arm " yeah we'll have a good day , I won't be home till late today I have to look at a case a few towns over but I have left money for you to order some food in tonight ok " he stated more the asked as he walked past me " yeah thanks dad " he smiled and pecked my forehead before making his way back to the kitchen .
I pulled the front door open and shivered as the cold wind hit me " yep I forgot , not in Phoenix any more " I said to myself as I made my way to my new truck , I pulled the door open after some struggle and instantly took off not really wanting to miss anything.

" hey wait .. hey " I turned to see a boy slightly shorter then me running to me with a smile " hi " I stated not really wanting to talk and I hoped he would see my bluntness and leave but he carried on following me all the way down the hall " you're Isabella right " he asked pulling out a pice of paper from his pocket " yeah , but call me Bella ..please " he nodded once and averted his eyes back to the hall in front " we'll my names Eric and I am your tour guide" I could tell he was trying to impress me but if he wanted to get with me it wasn't going to happen " I am fine actually " I said more blunt this time waving my time table at him " well if you need a friend or a shoulder to cry on you can always come to me girl " I internally heaved at his comment but carried on walking " would you want to maybe sit at my table at lunch , I could introduce you to some of my friends " I stopped in the middle of the hallway and looked directly at Eric " will you leave me alone if I say yes " I asked giving him a small smile , not because I was happy it was because I was trying to hold in my laugh " um yeah , see you at lunch then " he stumbled off leaving me to laugh at my self , not for long though as the bell rang straight after.

I walked into the class and felt a lot of eyes watching me " ah yes Isabella , your seat is right here next to Edward " I looked up to see the boy stearing directly at me with his hand covering his mouth and nose like I smelled bad " hi " I stated feeling as if he didn't like me already " he just nodded and pushed one of the chemicals my way " thanks " I said sarcastically feeling hurt by his actions, once he looked away I sniffed my shirt to see if I smelled but all I could smell was the perfume I had on. I ended up just ignoring him and carrying on with the work my science teacher had given out .. I might not seam like the science type but I am actually really good at it , I think I get my brains from my mom.
All of a sudden I was taken out of my thoughts as Edward jumped up out of his seat , I was about to say something but the bell rang a second later .. almost as if he knew it was going to go off.

After an interesting first lesson I made my way to lunch , where long and behold Eric and his friends sat waving at me " Bella over here " I walked over there with my tray and was sat between him and a boy " hi I am mike " he smiled as he wrapped him arm around me " um hi " I tried to not seam uncomfortable but I was " oh I am Jessica by the way " the girl next to mike exclaimed seaming annoyed at him " and I am Angela , photographer for the news paper " I nodded and jumped when Eric shouted " the news paper group is dead Angela don't bring it up again " he stormed off some where with mike following him " I will see you ladies later " , I let out a breath as Jessica took mikes place " the boys seam to really like you " she said seaming mad " I laughed and looked at her dumb fouled " none of them are my type , but I can tell mike is yours " I smiled seeing her blush and look down " don't worry I am not after anyone's man " at this comment they all laughed . After the laughter died down I looked out the window while Angela started to talk about dresses for prom with Jessica " who are they ? " I asked seeing a group of kids all walking in together " oh their the Cullen's , they are all adopted but some of them are together together it's really weird "  I watched as a blonde and a really tall boy walked past us " that's Rosalie and Emmet , they are together.. a shame really because Emmett's  muscles definitely could get him any girl in here " next a boy with curly blonde hair walked in " that's Jasper he was with Alice but something happened and now they aren't " Alice ? ..."who's Alice ?" I asked Jessica not seeing any others " oh she's just coming in , she's the one with the short hair , she's kind of weird oh and the boy behind her is Edward " I didn't even care to look at Edward because the Alice girl was taking up all my focus , she was beautiful her hair ,her smile her everything and she looked back at me with a heart warming smile " Edward is off limits though because no one here is good enough for him apparently " I laughed and looked at the girls thinking they was joking because he was rude to me earlier " seriously you like him , he's so rude " they both scrunched up their eyes and looked at me weird " you don't like him , your like the only girl here who doesn't " Angela exclaimed " well I guess I am not one of those girls ".
