It's the day of the trip and I was hating the idea of going into school right now because I decided not to tell Edward that I was abandoning him for his sister , but I am sure he won't mind because he's not even present.. I looked around the parking lot and he was no where to be seen ... but I did spot Alice stood by her car sporting a blue coat and a scarf that matched and once she did the same she shot me a smile and made her way towards me " hey Bella " she was so much happier since I asked her to be my partner to the trip " hi alice ... um where's Edward ?" I asked this not because I was genuinely wanting to know where he was but more because I didn't want him to think I am his partner and just turn up " oh he's sat on the bus with jasper ... he didn't take the news well " she looked at one of the busses and turned back around with an amused face " what news?" She laughed and pointed to me and her " oh the fact that I switched partners " she nodded as we both let out a loud laugh " I do feel bad but yet again I don't " she said as she grabbed my hand and took me to the opposite bus from him.
" so Bella we have another hour a head of us so how about we play a game ?" I shook my head at her with a small smile "a game ... really ?" She was to cheery to notice that I was laughing at her childish ways " yeah 21 questions, I will start " I nodded in defeat as she started to think " have you ever kissed any one ?" She asked so innocently that I don't think she realises what she has asked " um nope not yet " she nodded and gestured for me to go on " ok um ... do you play any sports " she clapped her hands together and smirked " I play baseball with my family and between you and me I am the best pitcher ". This went on until we reached the green houses we was visiting, we walked off the bus her first then me but once we stepped off we locked eyes with Edward " hey um Bella can we talk " his voice was deeper and a lot more scarier then normal " ok I will see you later I guess alice " she nodded sadly and watched us until she couldn't anymore " I just wanted to ask why you swapped me for her " I didn't know whether or not I should mention the fight but his tone of voice made me want to call him out " well I was comforting your sister after you left her hurt the other day and I offered to be her partner because she's nice and your very clearly not " I snapped back but this only set something off in him " look I was trying to help you honestly, she's no good for you Bella you shouldn't be friends " I stared at him in shock , now he was trying to tear apart our relationship ... well friendship " why , give me a good reason " he looked around him before taking a step forward " I am sure you have heard about jasper right ..her ex " I shook my head no because he was starting to scare me " she took him in , started dating him and then became addicted to him like a drug he couldn't move with out her following , she's like a stalker Bella ... after jasper broke up with her it took 3 months before she finally realised he didn't want her " I looked at him shocked but it kind of makes sense from her personality " look I am just telling you to be careful, you can come with me and walk around until you figure things out but please don't let this stop us from being friends " I was still in shock but nodded following him while I thought about everything he said.
" Bella wait !" Alice yelled while I walked along side Edward " Bella!!" I felt bad for ignoring her so I waved and turned back around " so Bella do you have any plans this week end " I shook my head no as I continued to look at the flowers to distract my thoughts " would you be up for a date " I stopped thinking about her and looked at him " um ..." he practically looked desperate " ok yeah " He suddenly started sporting a face eating grin but my stomach didn't feel right , like I felt as if I was hurting alice but what she doesn't know won't hurt her right ,we aren't even dating or anything .
I am just going because something in me made me not say no to him because I felt bad , also I have been kind of mean to him " well I will pick you up at 7 tomorrow " He stated as he ran off ahead of me and out the door " hello earth to Bella" Jessica called from in front of me " oh um hi " she gave me a knowing look and shook her head " what ?" Right now she was scaring me " you and Cullen ay " she smirked " me and Edward are only friends ok " but that didn't convince her " friends don't go on dates " she said but we was soon stopped by a sudden action " excuse me " some one said as they dashed past us with a hurt voice and I didn't even have to think twice about who it was " I told you that Alice girl was weird " Jessica chimed in but I just gave her a sad smile in return.
