Allison

I knew Kelly always had an eye for Colson. She made that perfectly clear in high school. The thing about secretly sleeping with him was, Kelly assumes he was hers to wrap around her perfectly manicured finger with.

We all gathered in the campfire again. This time not for "truths or dares." Kelly suggested we play "spin the bottle" like we used to. Which means, just me watching because I wasn't comfortable with random kisses.

However, surprising them yet again, I joined the circle. I just wish I sat closer to Kelly so I could've scratched off the ginormous grin on her face when the bottled matched her and Colson.

His eyes darted to me.

I didn't blink, depriving him of any giveaways.

Kelly rubs her palms together and a twinkling mischief written over her face.

I wanted him to back away. But I stayed in my seat, gritting my teeth as she shifted all the way to him, taking his jaw in her hands and kissing him.

He was stiff.

I was pissed.

It was the longest kiss I have had to sit through. When they were finally, finally done, Gab and Josh has been whooping. The girls had been applauding and Kelly did a fancy bow.

Colson shrugged, an easy smile on his face. "Just a random kiss."

I had a feeling it was meant for me, but fury slapped me blind. When the laughter died down, I shot up a hand to go next. I relish at the sight of their surprised faces.

The bottle spun and it pointed to Luke across me. Silence stretched past awkward. But I'm sick and tired of the concerned responses they had. I crawled toward him, my hands closing on both his cheeks.

His eyes rounded and he froze.

I slanted my mouth over his. Not quite like Colson's but I tried. Our friends started to cheer me on.

Luke started to respond. But I pulled away immediately. Grace patted me on the back, making a crowing sound. Luke has stared at me shocked and... something else. Melissa was a mixture of shock and hatred.

Colson has had his eyes shrinking into slits.

Good. Then to add injury to the wound, I shrugged. "Three words: Just. Random. Kisses."

"Allie, we never knew you're good at that," Lily winked at me.

I put on a wide smile. "Well, I guess I'm gonna call it a night."

I head back to the cabin, my anger still not subsiding. I trudged up the stairs and slammed the door shut behind me. I went straight to the bathroom for a nice, soothing shower. Quick but it will suffice. By the time I had put on my nightgown, there had been an impatiently knocking on the door.

I wasn't surprised to find a furious man behind the door, breath heaving and eyes clouded. "What the hell, Allison?" He asks through gritted teeth.

My own anger boiled over again. "What? It was just a random kiss."

"Kelly kissed me. I would've backed away if you told me. If you only looked at me."

I clenched my teeth. "It was both our choices."

"You kissing the man you used to like in front of another who likes you? What the fuck was that choice, Allison?" His nose flared with anger.

"Why does it matter?" I snapped.
