experiment time

(This is what would happen if the team apart from coulson got turned into toddlers and the avengers had to take care of them)

Simmons- ok I think I have created a love potion!!!

Fitz- really?

Simmons- yeah! Let's try it on all of the team, maybe not coulson

Fitz- ohhh why not?

Simmons- coz he's looking at his trading cards again

*after everyone has tried it* *they have all turned into children except for coulson*

Skye was lying across her laptop, asleep, clutching on to Ward like he was a teddy bear. Ward was holding onto Skye and her laptop like he was protecting them. He was awake and looking at Skye and was putting a blanket on her so she would stay warm. Fitz and Simmons were crawling around the lab babbling nonsense with the occasional formula mixed in. May was staring at the big blue sky, mesmerized by the sight. Luckily, the plane was on autopilot and was beginning to land on the helicarrier. Coulson made his way out and saw Skye and Ward, by this time he was seriously confuzzled and made his way to the lab expecting an explanation from Fitzsimmons. When he arrived he saw the toddlers sleeping sprawled out in all directions. He carefully carried them out to where Ward and Skye were and lay them down. By the time he went back, Ward was sound asleep, cuddled up to Skye. He went to the cockpit, hoping that he would find an adult May flying the plane but he entered to giggling as he saw a toddler May watching the window. He picked her up and she started laughing at his confused expression and shouted, "I I-I-S MAYYYYY." He just chuckled at her attempt to speak and said, "ok May, do you know who I am?" He was responded with a "nooo." He said to her smily face, " ok well I will take cre of you and the others. How old are you?" "Oh oh oh oh!!! I know! I'm ummmmmm wait one twooo tweeee fwaaaw fifffe!!! I fiffe!"

*Agent Hill has entered the plane*

He walked to the main room where he found Agent Hill with Skye clung to her arm with Ward on her leg and Fitz and Simmons on one shoulder each. She stood there with the most 'can't be asked' look and said, "care to explain?" "Well I actually don't know I'm just gonna assume that it was an experiment gone wrong and only affected the others." He shrugged and again said, " But they are like epically adorable" He took a picture with and placed May on top of Maria's head which earned him a death glare. Fury walked in with wide eyes (or eye) and simply said, "Coulson I leave your team for 1 week and they return as toddlers. Take them to the sofa room and keep them there. I'll get babysitters." May jumped off of Maria and crawled over to Fury. She reached her hands out signalling she wanted to be picked up. He sighed and picked her up and said, "she is a very happy child." Coulson responded with, "yeah I know, when I went to the cockpit I found her giggling and her eyes glued to the sky. It was pretty funny actually!" He snapped a picture of May and Fury as it was adorable.

Meanwhile, FitzSimmons climbed down Maria and shouted, "I climbed down the mountain!!!! YAYAYAY!!!!" Maria just laughed and said, "ward and skye where are you?" She looked around the room and saw Skye trying to walk and Ward helping her when she was falling. At one point she started crying and Ward hugged her. Completely in awe, coulson was recording the moment and Fury turned to him, "are you ever going to stop taking pictures?" "No!!! Can't miss an opportunity like this!!"

They took them to a massive room on the helicarrier filled with sofas and cushions so they would be safe. By the looks of it, Skye was around 2, Fitz and Simmons were around four and Ward and May were  5. Fury was explained and he said, "set up a camera. I wanna know what in the hell is going on in there and I'm getting the avengers to babysit them." "Why the avengers sir?" "Why not."

The avengers strolled down in their casual clothing and made their way to the room where they found five toddlers climbing ontop of Coulson for no reason. Coulson explained the situation and said "good luck" before he literally sprinted out of the room but not before he took a picture of them with the avengers.

Steve walked in the front and sat down in front of them. He said to them, "So, what are your names?"

May spoke up and said, "I am mayyy." Fitz said, "I am fitz and this is smy fweind simmonnsss." Ward said, "I am gwant." And Skye said in a whisper, "I is Skye."

Steve looked at them and back at the others and smiled. Then Natasha cane over and said, "Grant Ward? As in one of the best agents at shield? This is way to funny!" She took a picture of them with Steve. The six of them made their way over to the children and sat down next to Steve. Skye trudged over to Steve and said, "Mister I'm bawd..." So they ended up setting a projecter screen and were playing the movie, Brave. Then Skye said to steve quietly, "that girl in the movie is she like natassa and cwints dwauter?" He replied laughing with, " aww no she isn't, but they are together." "EW!" Ward shouted across the room! Tony made his way over chuckling and asked, "what's wrong buddy?" "May just squashed a spider with her hand." Tony squealed like a girl and took Ward swiftly and hid behind Steve. Steve got up and took May to wash her hands. May looked up to him and said, "are you Captain America?" "Yes I am" "I wanna be a spy when I'm older. I wanna be a ninja. I'd be agent May! Oooooooh" Natasha heard and said, "I think you'll be a great spy!" And she looked at Steve knowingly with a smile across her face. Thor made his way over to Skye and Ward with Miljnor and settled it down. Ward jumped on it and tried to pick it up. Thor just watched and shouted loudy across the room, "this one will be a great warrior." Whilst this was happening, Leo and Jemma made their way over to Bruce and Tony who were talking about the cube. Tony was saying, 'you'd have to heat to cube to-" he was interrupted by fitz who said, "to two thousand kelvin-" and Simmons finished his sentence by saying," just to break through the Coloumb barrier!" Then tony just said whoah. Ward shouted, "LETS MAKE A FORTRESS!!!!! ONE SECTION FOR SUPERSPY AND ANOTHER FOR SCIENCY PEOPLE ANOTHER FOR STORY TIME WITH CAPTAIN AMERICA AND T'WOOR!!" So they did what he said and fitzsimmons were with Bruce and Tony, ward and may were with Natasha, Clint and Skye was with Steve and Thor. After hours of play fighting with nerf guns and pillows, story telling and creating and coke and mentos mixing, the children were exhausted and so were the adults. The adults were all sleeping in a line and the children were sprawled out on top of them.

*12 hours later*

All the kids were turned back into adults and they slowly woke up. The avengers slowly arose too. Steve and Skye slowly woke up and when they realised the position they were in, the jumped off each other and sat down next to each other.

Coulsons team went back to the bus and were shocked when they found pictures of their toddler selves scattered everywhere. As they were looking round at each picture, coulson walked in and explained the whole event. May said, "huh, I was a very energetic child." Skye also said, "why was I so small?" Ward said, "I thought you looked cute- OH WAIT NO NOT LIKE THAT EW I'M YR FRIEND ONLY FRIEND. FRIEND FRIEND FRIEND" He blushed as he said this and Skye just burst out laughing. Fitz and Simmons said at the same time, "cool"
