🐺The Howling🐺

John and Dimitra were sitting out on the porch swing when Sully and Sandy finally made it back to the house with Slasher waiting just outside the property line in the road. Klayton caught his scent from the battle earlier and jumped off the roof and into the yard to see what was going on and why he was there, knowing what his pack did to his last 3 packmates. Crisstopher and Kacie joined him shortly after just to see what everyone else was gawking at. When Kacie saw him though she backed up and frowned at him being there, for he was one of the ones that destroyed her family, she remembered him very well.

Sully came up to Klayton and explained everything, and why Slasher was wanting to join them and added that he would follow Crisstopher into hell and back again if he'd let him after seeing what he did to Skete. Kacie moved up beside her brother and told him that she could not be in the same pack as him, for he was one that had to do with her family's death, her mate and her child, and her mate's parents. Klayton considered his lil sister's words and told Slasher to keep moving for he wasn't welcome here either. Slasher slowly approached Kacie and apologized for his past behaviors, and that he was quite brainwashed by his alpha and did many horrible things, but he was no longer under her control or power.

Then he lowered his head to me and said that the one carrying the Wolf's Heart Medallion and had the force to decapitate his enemies, was the true Alpha of all wolves and that I was the one that would rid the world of Zera and her evil pack. We all looked at each other and said the alpha of the Lost Pack was a female!! Slasher shook his head and warned us all not to underestimate the strength of her wickedness and the power she held over all the wolves in her pack. But Slash took Klayton's warning, and lowered his head, and was heading out. I followed him and asked him how we could trust him or if his loyalty to the Lost Pack was really severed. Slasher without turning around told him that his loyalties always lie with the one alpha that can outdo all others, then he paused for a few minutes and told me that I was that alpha, and he would die fighting alongside me instead of dying by fighting against me.

I looked over at Kacie, she lowered her gaze at me and nodded to me in understandment, then slowly went back into the house. I moved around Slasher and told him that he was welcome to stay if he wanted to and that the pack would forgive his past as long as he kept his nose clean in the present and future of this family. Slasher bowed his head and thanked all of us for giving him a chance, and not judging him due to his past idiocy and very poor judgment on choosing families. 

Brutus and his old family members welcomed him gladly and said that he would really love being in the new family environment and the type of training we give them instead of the brutal coldness of the Lost Pack, and not being cared for or about if they fail as their old alpha did. Slash warmed up to all the members fairly quickly, he even got my mom Dimitra to blush a lot, which was no easy task, so far only Klayton and my dad John could manage it, but Slash did good, the only one that didn't want to warm up to him was my mate Kacie, she just wouldn't let him get close to her, even though she allowed him to be in the pack with her, she made it clear that she wouldn't be able to be friends with him.

After Slash got settled in his new home, Klayton beckoned him to go with him so they could have a little chat. I was going to go with him, but I decided to let the alpha take care of business, while I stayed with Kacie all snuggled n cozy for the night, or until I was called upon for some kinda trouble in paradise, but until then I was totally relaxing. Klayton told Slash about Kacie's entire story and all that his pack did to her, and the reason why she will be very hard for him to ever get close to as a sister or pack member. But he also added for him not to take it personally, and that maybe in time she would come around to trust him a little bit, and consider him family. Slasher gave him a wicked grin and said he had all the time in the world, and eventually she would warm up to him, as soon as he proved himself to her and to the pack, that he was indeed loyal to his new family and would fight and die for any or all of them.

Klayton slapped him on the back playfully and welcomed him to the family, and that they all could use all the help they could find, for he knew all too well, on how strong and fierce their enemy was. Slash smiled at him and said he would help any way possible and tell them each of the members' weaknesses and strengths, then he would help bring them out and we could all take them one by one till they were no more. For since he was one of the higher-ranked wolves in that pack he knew things that the other members don't know...and he would gladly share all with us. They both finished their conversation, then headed back inside to sleep off the very long but somewhat exciting day. 

Meanwhile, back at the oil rig where Zera and her somewhat smaller pack were still staying, she was becoming very infuriated by the fact that her sister and daughter never came back, and neither did her 3rd in command, Slash.
