Chapter 22

Dabis POV
After your dance with Harumi you go back to meet with Toga. You're still pissed and annoyed that her and hawks have been so close. You clench your jaw just thinking about them together. God I hope she doesn't have feelings for him. She can't get taken away from me again. You see Toga sitting at a table with some other semi pro heroes. You chuckle at their site. "Hey Dabi, hows Harumi?" She asks. "Fine. Have you got everything figured out yet?" You say sitting in the chair taking a drink. "Of course. And I'm gonna start with these lovely folks." She says quietly to you. The lights dim and Midnight walks on stage. She gives a brief speech then announces Mirko has won the award. "I'd also like to thank Hawks for helping me so much and showing me things along the way." She finished with a wink. "Looks like she really is his little play bunny." You chuckle to Toga. She laughs at your remark. "Hey look Harumi and Hawks are leaving." She notices. You look over and see hawks leading Harumi out of the room and your heart starts racing. What the hell are they doing? You quickly get up and follow them telling Toga to continue on the plan. Theyre a few feet a head of you and it's hard to keep up. "Would you like a drink sir?" A server suddenly cuts you off. "Fuck out of my way." You say shoving him aside. When you look back up you no longer see Hawks and Harumi. Shit. You think to yourself as you continue to go look down hallways.

It's been a few minutes and Youre still looking down hallways. You turn down a long corridor and hear some commotion. You walk over and stand on the side to not be seen so you just listen in. "Come on Dont act like we don't have something!" You hear Hawks. What the fuck? You think as your heart races. "Hawks get it together you can't kiss someone like that! ...I have feelings for someone else I'm sorry." You hear Harumi say. You get even more pissed hearing that he kissed her but relieved when she says she has feelings for someone else. You're about to go and interrupt them when you hear Endeaver come in. Fucking perfect. You hear him say how you've died and then hear Harumi crying. Your rage is off the chart as you hear her cry and him lie right to her. Your flames grow bright as you make your entrance and appear to them. You throw a flame out from your hands going straight through Harumi and Endeaver. Your smile widens as you see the confused and scared look on their faces. "Dabi? What are you doing?" Harumi sniffles. "Making my grand entrance my resurrection from the dead!" You say getting excited. "As you can see I'm not dead I'm better than ever!... sorry it took so long my little flower." You finish smiling to Harumi. You hear alarms go off and realize the mission is about to begin. "Looks like we haven't missed the fun after all." You say. You look to Harumi and see a confused yet happy look on her face as she processes the information. She starts getting up and strides towards you when suddenly she yanked back. Your smile fades quickly as you see Endeaver gripping Harumis arm holding her back. He pushes her back to Hawks and before you know it Hawks has her in the air flying away. You clench your jaw getting pisses that he's got her again. You turn your eyes back to Endeaver whos now bursting with flames. "What makes you think I'm going to let you get away with grabbing her like that and taking her away from me?" You say to Endeaver. "What do you want with her Touya? Leave her out of this, you've caused her enough pain." He says calmly. "Me? You're the reason for that. Take a good look at me! This is one of your finest creations!" You yell. "I don't want to hurt you." Endeaver says. You laugh at his comment. "It's a little late for that don't you think." You say and you shoot two blue flames directly at Endeaver causing him to stumble back. He fires back with a huge fireball but you easily put it out with your blue flames. You run closer to him shooting out more flames along the way causing him to have to dodge. You get close enough and punch him in the jaw with your fiery fist making him spit out blood. Endeaver throws a punch and you block and shoot fire right in his face. He yells out in pain making you laugh. It makes you feel good to hear him in pain after everything he's done to you. He swings at you again and you stumble back feeling blood on your lip from one of your stitches ripping off. You run back towards him and as he throws a punch you blast off and jump right over him using the burst of your flames. As you reach the other side you punch him with all your might and send him falling to the ground. You walk over to him and give him a good kick in the stomach before bending down towards him. "Tired already old man? For the number one hero you don't put up much a fight." You chuckle out. Suddenly Endeaver shoots out another flame right in front of you but as the smoke clears you're still standing there unfazed. "Your flames cant hurt me anymore." You say looking down to him as his expression hardens. You reach down in your pocket and grab one of the syringes Shigaraki gave you. You slam it down in his neck pressing the liquid in as he yells out in pain. "Touya what is this? What did you do to me?" He says frantically as you pull out the syringe. "Just a little parting gift. Enjoy being quirkless for a while." You say stepping over him. "You've ruined your life. You could've been so powerful! You'll never be good enough for her." He says. You turn around and stare down at him. "You know i wasn't going to kill you but maybe it's best if I do." You say making flames rise from both hands. You're about to strike him when suddenly Harumi appears right in front of you.
