Chapter 6

After talking to news reporters and other pro heroes you finally get to go home. Hawks insists on walking you to your apartment to make sure you're safe. "You know," Hawks says. "A lot of pro heroes were really impressed by you tonight, that was a big deal." "I was just doing what any hero would do." You tell him. "Right but youre not a pro hero and you're so young. They look at that stuff and already see a lot of potential. Dont be surprised if people start recognizing you and trying to recruit you." He tells you. That makes you excited to think your dream of becoming a hero could be so close.

You arrive at your apartment extremely tired and ready to go to sleep. "Thanks for walking me." You say. "Anytime songbird." He smiles down at you. "What are you doing tomorrow?" He asks suddenly. "I have class really late tomorrow night, I have a few tests to take." You tell him already exhausted just thinking about it. "Hm, well let me know if you need anything. I'll probably be flying around." He says. You laugh at his statement. "Of course. Goodnight hawks and thanks." You tell him. "Call me keigo. And goodnight." He says walking away. You shut your door and get ready for bed. Today was absolutely crazy. You crawl in bed thinking about that man on the roof and fall fast asleep.

Next day
You wake up and turn on the news and drop your water when you hear what they're saying.

New hero named Mother Nature saved many in last's night fire caused by the league of villains. Thanks to her plant making quirk she was able to safely get people out of the burning building. Is this a new hero we should keep an eye on?

You freak out in excitement. You can't believe you were just on the news and made such a big deal out of! It's feel surreal that this would already be happening. You walk out of your apartment and head to campus. On your way there it seems like people recognize you and wave to you. You're a little shy at the sudden attention but still wave back and say hi. When you arrive to school teachers congratulate you and are proud of your accomplishments. Kira calls you freaking out more than you are about the whole situation. You love how supportive she is. People that never talked to you suddenly came up and wanted to chat. It was weird but you weren't going to be rude. I guess I'll have to get use to this. You think to yourself as you continue about your day.

(Few hours later)
You yawn as you finally finish your last test. You look at the clock and the time reads 9:50. Holy shit I've been here forever. You pack your bags and head out. You check your phone for any messages but realize your phone has died. Just great. The buses stop running at 9:30 so you'd have to walk back to your apartment. Luckily you don't live that far off campus but you wish you were able to ride the bus. The streets are empty and the night is dark only the street lamps lighting up the sidewalks every now and then. As you're walking you notice someone standing under a street lamp up ahead. Not wanting to pass them you cross the street to the other side but can feel them looking at you. You try to not think to much about it and continue down the street.

You're a few blocks away now but turn your head around feeling uneasy. You notice someone not to far behind you. Is that the same person from before? You're heart starts beating a bit faster as you're now getting worried about this person behind you. I should go around the block before I get to my house just to be sure and so they don't know where I live. You decide to take a right and walk a few more feet before turning around to see if they're still there. You check over your shoulder and they're still there. Fuck. You take the next right and look behind you again. This time when you turn around they're gone. A relieved feeling washing over you but you're still a bit nervous.

You get to the next turn and someone grabs onto your wrist. "Hey-" you start but they cover your mouth with their other hand. You look up and see a man with a yellow trench coat and black and white mask. You squirm under his grasp but can't get away. "Let's hurry this up Dabi." He says to someone. There's more? You think frantically. Out of the shadows comes a tall man with dark hair and blue eyes....the man from the roof. Why is he here? You think as he comes closer. I have to do something. You think back to what Endeaver said about not using your quirk all the way. With your free hand you create a sharp rose bush that shoots out and scratches the man named Dabi. "OOoohh youve become feisty i see." He smirks at you. Did that do nothing? Before you can do anything else a cloth is met with your mouth. "Sorry we had to meet this way." Dabi says as your eyes flutter shut.
