Astro sat outside of the bedroom with his head buried in his knees while waiting for the long operation to finally end. He let out a wistful sigh and stuck his lower lip into a pout.

"I can't believe he's making me wait out here..."

'Rae looked down at Astro with a distasteful eye before shooing him away with his hand.

"Now listen up. You'll only distract us if you stay in here. So if you really care about your friend," Rae kicked open the door and he threw Astro out of the room. "Get out."

A dark cloud had appeared above Astro's head and he grumbled inaudible things under his breath. His thoughts then turned to you and he rested his cheek on his knees.

"When she wakes up, will she be the same Y/n I knew from back then?" At the thought of your smiling face, a giddy expression appeared on Astro's face and excitement began to bubble up from inside him. 'How many years has it been since I last spoke with her? Forty five? Fifty? No, it's been a hundred years! And she...' With his legs still hugged to his chest, Astro fell onto his side and he began to roll back and forth in front of the bedroom door. 'It's her smile, her smile! I miss it so much. And her laugh too! She always had the prettiest laughs. I want her to get better, I want to see her eyes. I'm sure they were a pretty colour. They...'

Astro sat upright and he propped himself against the wall as he stared down at the worn scarf hanging around his neck. He had reclaimed his present from you right before the operation had begun. This article of clothing was his only form of comfort for the time being. He kneaded it's soft fabric with his thumb and he stared wistfully at it.

"It's been over six hours now, how much longer will the operation go for?" He asked himself and gently brushed his fingers over the scarf. Rose soon entered the hallway with two cups of tea, and she eventually sat by Astro's side. He spared her a short glance before he focused his line of sight on the cups of tea placed onto the wooden floorboards.

"Oh, is that for Rae and Sheela?" He promptly asked. Rose shook her head and she raised her own cup of tea to her lips.

"Those two said not to bother them. So I will prepare them something once they've finished with the operation. This is for you." She stated and gestured to the cup of tea placed by Astro's hand. Astro's eyes widened and he looked from Rose to the tea.

"T-This is for me? Um, thank you. B-but I shouldn't, I mean...."

"Surely you're able to drink tea, right? It won't interfere with your circuits?" Rose asked. She then breathed in the tea's aroma before taking a small sip of it. Astro hesitantly picked up his own cup of tea and he stared into the cup's contents. 'I suppose one sip couldn't hurt.'

Astro gently raised the cup to his lips and he graciously took a small sip from the cup. As soon as the liquid hit his tongue, his eyes lit up with delight, and he smiled.

"Mmm, this tea is delicious! What flavour is this?" Astro praised as he turned to Rose with the tea in hand. Rose's smile widened and she closed her eyes in a delighted manner.

"I'm glad you like it. This is Chamomile tea. It helps one unwind." She explained and welcomed herself to another sip. Astro mimicked her actions and gladly finished the cup of tea she had given him. After the very last droplet, he licked his lips at the sweet taste and smiled.

"This tea is really nice. I feel my nerves going away already." He admitted. Rose chuckled at his praise and she set her half cup of tea down.

"I thought you'd might like it. Perhaps once your friend wakes up, she can have some too." Astro felt warmed by her words and he nodded his head in agreement.
