Juliet's POV

" Lettie, do you have time to spend awhile with me today?" Damian asked me and I narrowed my eyes at him.

" I have to go to the studio in the afternoon." I said to him. He chuckled.

" I will not take long." He said and I sighed inwardly.

" Ok." I said and he smiled.

" Go, get ready." He said and I nodded.

I called Ardeyn to tell him that we can't meet today. We wanted to have lunch together after his classes finish but I think that wasn't going to be possible today as Damian wants me to be with him..

" Hello!!" Ardeyn said.

" Aren't you in the class?" I asked him.

" If you knew that I am in class then why have you called me?" He asked me and I rolled my eyes.

" Die." I said and hung up the call.

He called back awhile back. I didn't pick up the call at first then he started to threatening me on text that if I don't receive the call he will come to Kentworths house and it will create a havoc. Stupid. I picked the call up and heard him laughing.

" What did I tell you? Don't act so smart with me, Juliet. I know all of your moves and weaknesses which are my triumph cards. I will gladly use them if I need to." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" Triumph cards in the sense of stupidity." I said to him. He chuckled.

" Everything is fair in love and war." He said and I rolled my eyes. I was about to say something but I heard a girl calling Ardeyn's name.

" Who is that?" I asked him but I heard that girl again before Ardeyn could say anything.

" Ardeyn, won't you go to the class? Whom are you talking to?" That girl asked.

I gritted. Why does she want to know whom was Ardeyn talking to?!! Doesn't she know it's a bad manner to interfere in someone's personal space??!

" My girlfriend. Wanna talk to her?" Ardeyn asked her.

" Oh, ok. Ok. You carry on." She said.

" Who was that?" I asked him.

" Classmate." He said and I rolled my eyes. "Just classmate nothing else. Stop being suspicious all the time, Juliet." He said.

" Excuse me!!! I am not at all suspicious. I just asked that. Even I don't try to interfere in your personal space. Why was she showing too much interest about you?" I asked him and he chuckled.

" She has a boyfriend. She is in our group that's why she was asking me if I was going to attend the class." He said to me.

" Having a boyfriend doesn't mean that she can't cheat on her boyfriend." I said to him.

" But I am not going to cheating on you ever. You can be sure about that." He said and I sighed deeply.

" Leave it. I think we have to change our plans for today." I said to him.

" Why? Everything ok?" He asked me back. I sighed deeply.

" Damian wants me to spend some time with him today." I said to him and he chuckled.

" Gladly. Do spend time with your brother. He too deserve to have your attention. Don't you think so?" He asked me.

" I will call you when I am free." I said to him.

" I have to be free as well. I have to attend a meeting in the evening." He said. I sighed deeply.

" Ok, then let's meet tomorrow. I will call you at night." I said to him.

" Ok. Bye then. I have to go to attend the class now." He said.

" Alright, Bye then." I said to him and hung the call up.

I got ready to go out with Damien. I don't know what does he want to tell me or discuss with me that suddenly he wants to spend some time with me. Generally they are always busy to spend time with me. God knows why suddenly he got time to talk to me. I went downstairs and found my grandparents. I was ready to have a lecturer session from them as well. They always do that which I hate the most. I am not 5 years old kid anymore, am I?

" Are you ready, Lettie?" Damian asked me.

" Yes, when are we going?" I asked him.

" Come." He said holding my hand.

I sighed deeply as soon as we came out of the house. Damian chuckled.

" You are not comfortable with grandma and grandpa, Lettie." He said.

" And you know why? I hate the way they keep lecturing me. For God sake I am not 5 years old anymore." I said to him.

" You are not 5 years old anymore that's why you should follow the right path as well." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" I know what I should do in my life. You guys don't have to guide me, Damian. Let me live my life. I want to follow my own decisions." I said to him.

" No one is forcing you to do anything." He said opening the door for me.

" I don't want any interfering in my life." I said to him and he started to drive away. " I know you want to ask me something. You can start. No need to be hesitated. He nodded but his eyes were glued on the road.

" What's between Ardeyn and you, Lettie?" He asked me. I looked out of the window and kept silent as I had nothing to say on this topic. I didn't want anyone to know this. He started again, " I saw you both together in the hotel lobby on the day of Ms. Roy's wedding ceremony." He said and I sighed deeply.

" Then you can guess it already." I said to him.

" You know the consequences, right, Lettie?" He asked me.

" I know that very well and I am not at all worried about that. My opinion doesn't matter to my family members ever. Why should I care about theirs, Damian? They didn't even ask me if I like Drew but they have started to force me to marry that guy already. You think that's a good decision?" I asked him and he sighed deeply.

" You are free to take decisions for yourself. No one will interfere in your life. I am with you." He said.

" Why suddenly you have changed your decision, Damian?" I asked him. He sighed.

" Aunt Lia called me last night. She is expecting." He said and I smiled widely.

" Really?!" I asked him.

" Yes." He said.

" That's a great news." I said to him. He nodded.

" I thought about these all night long yesterday and I realized that being happy in life is the only meaning of living and it's not possible without the people you love." He said and I nodded. " Though I don't like Northscotts but I can do it for my sister." He said looking at the road. I shook my head. This rivalry won't end but at least Damian has understood that nothing can make things right when it is happened with force.
