Very Awkward

Ardeyn's POV

" Is that going to work?" I asked Asher.

" It will." He said.

" Are you sure?" I asked him.

" 100% sure." He said and I sighed.

" Ok. If you say so. I am always with you. You know that even the world turns against you Ardeyn will still be standing next to you." I said sending the mails to the board of directors.

" I know that." He said leaning back on the seat.

The car was moving toward uncle Fabian's house. Aunt Lia and uncle Fabian have come to spend the holiday with their families. Though everything is not sorted out between the family but Aunt Lia is pregnant which is a great news for everyone of us. Both of the families are happy for them and everyone wanted to meet them. They settled down in Belgium after they left London. I mean I can understand the reason that made them leave their country. They wanted the peace in their lives.

" What are you thinking about, Ardeyn?" Asher asked me and I sighed deeply.

" Nothing. I was just thinking about aunt Lia and uncle Fabian. They are really happy now, aren't they? They deserved this happy ending. They are so lucky, Ash." I said to him and he rolled his eyes.

" I hate you." He said and I chuckled.

I know he hates it when I call him Ash. But I can't help it. It's fun calling him Ash. I can never resist myself from calling that. It's really very fun to see his expression.

" No, you don't. Stop lying to yourself." I said and he rolled his eyes.

" They were brace enough to take the step that they had taken but I don't think you are brave enough to do so." He said to me and I rolled my eyes.

" I am brave enough to do so but the point is I will not do that. I don't want to hurt my parents. Uncle Fab had his brother to look after his parents but I am the only child. There are difference between us." I said to him.

" Yeah, there are differences between you both and the difference is the courage. He was brave enough to fight the situation." Asher said. I chuckled.

" We are not at their place yet.Who knows things may get sorted out before we reach that stage. Years to be in their place." I said to him and the car stopped before Uncle Fabian's house and we got down the car.

" Hey, boys!!!" I found my uncle Asher's father. " Can I borrow Asher for awhile, Ardeyn?" He asked me.

" Why am I not allowed here?" I asked him and he chuckled.

" Your mom was looking for you. You go and meet her before joining." He said.

" Ok. Where will I find you later?" I asked him.

" We are in the basement." He said and I nodded before walking into the house.

I found the Kentworths in the living room talking to aunt Lia and walked inside to find my family in the backyard garden. I walked toward my Mom who was talking to the girls. I sat next to Ari. She narrowed her eyes at me.

" What's wrong? Why are you moving around with a grumpy sour face?" She asked me.

" I love my grumpy sour face." I said and she rolled her eyes. I sighed deeply looking at Juliet who was talking to aunt Lia with her family. She looked at me time to time but I ignored her presence as her family was present there as well. " Have you seen uncle Fab?" I asked Ari and she shrugged.

" He was in the kitchen just awhile back. You can check there. Where is Asher? Wasn't he with you?" She asked me.

" There is a world apart from Asher. Look around sometimes." I said to her and she rolled her eyes.

" There is a world apart from Juliet as well. Have I questioned you when you were ogling her?" She asked me and I chuckled.

" Ok, I lose you win. Girls are always in a fighting mood. They just need a little push." I mumbled and she rolled her eyes.

" Don't you think we are sitting too close to hear each other's whispers?" She said sarcastically and I sighed.

" He went to the basement with his father." I said and she chuckled.

" Good." She said and stood up.

" Where are you going?" I asked her.

" Going to the hell." She said rolling her eyes and I chuckled. " Obviously going to Asher." She said.

" Look, they have something important to discuss. That's why I left them alone. I think you shouldn't go." I said and she rolled her eyes before sitting next to me where she was sitting just awhile back.

" Ardeyn!!!" I heard my Mom calling me and I reached her.

I found some of her colleagues and friends there. I put on a fake smile on my face and met all of them. After that I walked out of there and walked toward the basement. I heard footsteps behind me.

" Stop following me, Juliet. At least, when your family is here." I said to her.

" My family has already come to know about us." She said and I turned to see her awkwardly.

" You said only your Mom knows. How come now whole your family know that? When has that happened?" I asked her and she sighed deeply.

" Mom tried to convince them but she failed. My dad was very furious last night. We had a huge fight and I moved to my apartment this morning. I am not staying at Kentworth's anymore. I am getting suffocated there." She said and I kept looking at her weirdly. She sighed deeply. " I think Dad will try to make a mess here. I found him talking to your father awhile back and they were not in a good mood definitely not. Uncle Fabian controlled the situation but until when?" She asked me and I sighed deeply.

" Why haven't you told that to me last night?" I asked her.

" Because I was very distressed. I thought he will realize his mistakes and say sorry but he didn't. Then why should I be caring about her?" She asked me.

" Are you sure th-" I was saying but we heard a hue and cry outside.

" What the hell is happening there?!" Juliet said.

I don't know why I was having a bad vibe about it. It was feeling very awkward. Very very awkward.
