Into the Other World

"Mom?Dad?",she called out to them,"Henry?"
Confused she stood up and started to wander around the place.
'How unusual',she thought.
She looked around and saw how peculiar the place was. She had been walking for hours it seemed and she was getting tired and hungry. With no more energy left she sat down by the river.
"Water...at least I can still drink water and won't die of dehydration",she said.
She bend down to drink the water but suddenly she lept up and screamed. Out of the water a mermaid appeared, she sat by the banks and stared at this strangly behaving girl.

"Hi there",said the mermaid, "I'm Lucy,what's your name?
Ivy was stunned,she just kept staring at Lucy,Ivy's eyes were so wide it looked like her eyeballs were ready to jump off.
"Oh",said Lucy,"I'm scaring you aren't I?,sorry about that".

Lucy stepped on land and turned into a human,this made Ivy even more scared that she started to shake and her jaw dropped open.
"Oh my,we got off a bad start it seems",said Lucy.
Ivy just looked at Lucy up and down with surprise.
"Yo....you're...you're a mermaid!!!!!",shouted Ivy,"Oh my you exist!!"
Lucy laughed,"Of course we do".
"I...I'm Ivy",said Ivy still in a state of confusion.

Lucy examined the sky and looked at Ivy.
"Well Ivy from which ever part of
Ashness you're from you better go back,it'll be dark soon",said Lucy.
"But I've been walking only for a few hours how can it be dark soon?"said Ivy still confused.
"Well I think you've lost track of time then",said Lucy,"Go back from where you came from before it gets dark".
"How do I do that?,said Ivy.
Lucy startled by Ivy's question just said,"From the same way you got here ".
"So if I go to sleep I'll wake up back home?",said Ivy.
"What are you?",said Lucy as she transformed back into a mermaid.
"I'm a human ",said Ivy.
"What's a human?"said Lucy.

The sky suddenly darkened and Lucy's friends came and pull her back into the deep.

Ivy was alone again, as it was dark she  got scared and started wandering the place again. The only source of light was the moon,she wandered around aimlessly to the point where she got so tired that she fainted and loss all consciousness.
