The next morning the queen had made a proclamation stating that no one,not even a single creature in Ashness should ever lend a helping hand to the demon Ivy,and if anyone was caught doing so will be sentenced to death.

After hearing the proclamation the whole of Ashness was in a state of shock. No one had ever thought of it before. Meanwhile the queen had ordered Harley and Irin to take a few soldiers to track down Christofre and Ivy.

While Lucy and her mermaid friends were enjoying the sun,Ivy came out of nowhere. All the other mermaids immediately jumped into the depth of the sea.

"I'm not surprised as to why they did that",stated Lucy.
Ivy just smiled.
"Join us",proposed Christofre.

Lucy examined the three odd looking group. She then eyed one member and went straight into the water.

"What is a vampire doing in broad daylight?",she gulped.
Jasper sighed,"Stop asking unnecessary questions and come with us",he insisted.

At first Lucy refused for she know what will happen if the queen finds out that she's helping the demon.

"I'm sorry but-"
"But what",interrupted Christofre,"I wonder what the queen will do to you when she finds out that you were the first one to care for this demon".

Christofre managed to frighten Lucy and she had no choice but to accept his proposal of joining them.

"You don't know why you're here",added Lucy,"But someone does and if we get her to join us it will be easier for us to do our work".
Jasper laughed.
"The queen's daughter? I'd like to see if any of you can reach her",he said.
"Leave that to me",Christofre challenged.

He then set out for the palace immediately.

"You should learn to control your powers",complained Jasper.
Lucy's eyes widened in shock.
"I just got them okay",ranted Ivy,"Both of you stop looking at me like that or I'll kill you both"

Frightened Jasper and Lucy kept silent for a while.

"Let's go back",stated Ivy.
"Where?",inquired Lucy.
"Twilight Site",replied Jasper,"That's the last place the queen will look for us".
"True but we should hurry",added Lucy.

As it was day time Jasper had to be careful not to over work himself and couldn't keep up with the two. He told them to go on without him but Ivy was not going to leave anyone behind. A demon's strength is unfathomable not even the ruler of the land could match to its power,with a bit of a struggle Ivy managed to make Jasper immune to sunlight.
