The next day Ivy was determined to find the answers for all her questions by herself,as no one could give her an answer.

At the stoke of dawn she set out,no one could stop her and Christofre had no clue what she was going to do.
First of all she went to the banks of the river and waited, she knew that the mermaids would eventually come out to the shore. As predicted the mermaids did swam up.

"Ivy",said Lucy,"Its been a while,you look well".
"I'm feeling great",said Ivy,"I need your help".
"Well of course, what is it?",inquired Lucy.
"Demons,do they exist in Ashness?",said Ivy.

Lucy was startled by her question.
"The...they did",Lucy stammered.
"Did?",yelled Ivy.
Lucy timidly nooded.
"I...I should get going",said Lucy,"My mother will be worried".

Full of fear she got back into the water and swam into the deep.
Ivy didn't stop there. Lucy's answer hadn't answer her questions. She decided to continue on her journey till she found someone who could give her answers.
She walked a long way and then she reached the place where she woke up in.

"Will I get back home if I sleep here?",she said to herself.
"No you won't ",a familiar voice answered her.
She turned around a saw Jasper.
"Why do you only apprear during the night time?",inquired Ivy.
"Silly little demon",he said,"I'm a vampire so obviously I cannot go out during the day time or else..."
"Else you'll die,I know",interrupted Ivy
"Oh so you know",said Jasper.
"From where I came there are no vampires, witches, fairies or mermaids,we only read about you all in stories and see you all only in movies",explained Ivy.
"Whats a movie?",said Jasper quiet confused.

Ivy's face went blank.

"Nevermind",she said.
"You need a place to sleep for the night and its a long way from the palace, follow me",said Jasper.

Ivy unafraid of this vampire followed him and he led her to a huge tree.

"I used to come here with my mother, but now she's...",sobbed Jasper.
"I'm so sorry",said Ivy.

Jasper made sure that Ivy was comfortable and when she fell asleep she went to the highest branch and sat there enjoying the night.

"This little demon sure is a handful",he said.

The moonlight shone bright, the stars twinkling beautifully. What a perfect night it was!
