Never Enough
You're the only theater in my own town
The sole jewel in my own crown
The purpose of my every breathe
And the colors on my own wreath
While I'm just a cold breeze to the storm you seek
A syllable to all the words you speak
A single thread to your fabric
And a mistake you did not tweak
Our ship is sinking
The glow in your eyes is fading
My hopes are shaking
And my faith is decaying
Thought you were my other half
Gave you love, made you laugh
But you were never there when my ride was rough
For all that, I was never enough.
