jun's well-known as the weird kid ( in the best way possible ), but is that really all we're going to acknowledge of him??? let's not label him the weird one, because even if it's a joke, it's really not something we should joke about.
i don't think anyone ever does this one but!!! let's not bring up vernon's heritage. he's korean, period. he is korean-american by race, yes, but that doesn't make him any less korean, as he often says himself. let's remember not to call him halfie or "mixed", because he just wants to be treated like any other member, or human for that matter.
the joshua jokes about Christianity — I don't think many of us have realised it, but joshua doesn't like those jokes. he also doesn't like being called by his korean name ( as with vernon, so let's not refer to them as jisoo/hansol ). the "jisoos christ" jokes in particular are kind of making fun of joshua's religion, and I think we should respect that he doesn't like those jokes. joshua isn't just Christian for show.
calling jeonghan the "mom" of the group. jeonghan doesn't like being called the mother of the group, or just being misgendered in general. he had long hair and looks androgynous, yes, but if he doesn't like it, he doesn't like it. we should also respect the fact that seungcheol and jeonghan are friends, not a couple. this is also applicable to all other ships, but this ship in particular is associated with being the "parents", and I think we shouldn't force it upon them??
meanie — wonwoo & mingyu. wonwoo actually avoided standing next to mingyu for a while because of fans desperate for the meanie ship. again, they're friends. there are some carats who are really just kinda claiming they do like each other in that way and I'm glad I haven't come across one, but we shouldn't assume their sexualities!!! it's really not nice and it's not good for any idol, really, because korea isn't so accepting of lgbtq+.
woozi isn't just a suga lookalike!!! please. he's not here producing songs JUST to be compared to suga. he doesn't want to be referred to as suga's long-lost son or smth, he's just woozi. lee jihoon. also, yes, woozi is shorter than the rest of the members, but that's not everything about him??? let's avoid joking about his height, he said he doesn't like it. and!!! don't baby woozi. he's a grown man, he even explicitly said that he's more masculine than anything. he finds it uncomfortable to act super duper cute and have to throw out aegyo for us, so we shouldn't push for anything like that unless he is the one that wants to.
picking on seungkwan/hoshi/woozi/any member's visuals. seungkwan is chubby and NOT overweight. hoshi is insecure about his small eyes. they're all handsome and charming in their own ways!
"dino nugu aegi?" — clearly, only jeonghan gets to say this. not carats. dino doesn't like being called a baby, so we should really respect that.
hoshi doesn't like being called a hamster/hamzzi, so we shouldn't call him that. respect his tiger agenda. let the man be a tiger in peace. he's clearly upset when people call him hamster.
on that topic, seungcheol doesn't like being called a camel, okay? he's been picked on because of his looks. svt may say that to him because they're close friends who can take a little teasing, but it's not in our place to call him this and compare him to a camel.
stop comparing everyone to different celebs!!! especially vernon with leonardo dicaprio. he doesn't LIKE being compared to dicaprio, he's so much more than just a visual, he's said on multiple occasions that the comparisons are not appreciated lol
anyway, that's probably not everything that i could've included, but it's all I can list at the moment. carats, we've been given so much from svt. let's work together to make sure that svt is even more successful and happy in their future years. they love us as much as we love them, so we should all respect them and view them not only as idols, but fellow human beings.
