The moment the bullets hit the car to how we escaped was a blur, I however remember Ludovico securely wrapping his arms around my waist, kicking the car door open, lunching himself and I out of the vehicle causing us to roll into the vegetation that surrounded us.
I recall how our bodies continuously intertwined as we rolled deeper and deeper into the vegetations, and I remember praying to God that we didn't die until everything went black and I fainted in shock of what was happening

"Minnie mouse......Minnie mouse.....wake up!" I heard a voice call out from afar. I tried to open my eyes, but I was much too tired and had a headache.
"Come on Minnie mouse! Wake up!" The voice sounded much closer this time, but my eyes still didn't want to open.
"I swear to God ......Virgin Mary! If you don't wake up right now, I am going to take away your holy status and leave you out here to die!" That did the trick as my eyes sprung open and I began coughing.
"Oh thank God......You had me worried there." I took in my surroundings and registered that we were in the middle of some sort of forest area which meant that the events that took place earlier (That I desperately wished was a bad dream) really happened.
I gasped as I sat up and checked to see if the man that saved my life was okay.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?!" I worriedly questioned.
"Worry about yourself Minnie Mouse, I will be fine................I have been in much worse situations."
My eyes did a quick scan of his body and saw a blood patch in his lower abdomen area, "You're bleeding, are you going to die?" Before he could answer my question I did what I was brought up to do in situations like this, I started crying.
"Stop being such a cry baby, I was just grazed by a bullet........I am not dying anytime soon." He reprimanded.
"Are you sure?" I asked sniffing my nose.
"I promise." He said with a huge grin making me smile before I pulled him into a hug.
"Do you worry this much about men you hardly know?" He queried with a hint of jealousy.
"Just the ones that saved my life." I teased.
"We need to find help; it's not safe for us to be out here." Ludovico informed me as he stood up.
I nodded my head in agreement, and as I followed suit, I felt my small bag. "My handbag! I must have grabbed it as we jumped out of the car." I said beaming with excitement. I took out my cell-phone, but there was no signal in the area and it was on fifteen percent.
"Turn it off for now." Ludovico suggested, "Maybe we can get signal as we get closer to the warehouse." I did as Ludovico said, slung the handle of my handbag over my shoulder, and dusted off my dress that was now dirty and ripped in some places.
"I'm ready!" I said looking up at Ludovico and we began our journey walking through the vegetation.
About two hours later of walking through the woodlands and not trying to get detected by the people that wanted to kill us, I looked over at Ludovico and saw that he was sweating profusely, and he was holding on to the part of his stomach that was injured.
"Ludovico, what's wrong? You're sweating!" I grilled getting scared.
"I am going to be fine, just a little tired." He replied brushing me off.
