"Congrats, Linda!" Dominique greeted me when he passed by me carrying one large box full of used clothes from the office. He is one of my closest friends since elementary.

"Thanks, Niq!" I answered and went inside the office. Nautusan kasi ako nung Teacher namin na umikot dito sa campus and papirmahan 'tong nasa papel since I was the newly elected president of the organisation.

"Good morning, Ma'am." I greeted when I saw our assistant principal inside the office.

"Good morning, what may I help you?" she asked.

"Ms. Naz would like to submit the list of the members of our organisation. May mga pirma na rin po nung Teachers na kasama doon po sa org namin." sagot ko at inabot sa kanya iyong papel.

"Okay, I see. Thank you." she replied with a smile. I just bowed my head a little and walked towards the door to leave.

It was break time so madaming students ang nasa labas, I have sandwich inside my bag so I'm not going to visit the canteen to buy some snacks anymore.

"Hello, Ms. President!" Leoncio shouted meters away from me waving his left hand up high. He is wearing his complete uniform and wow he's wearing a necktie and his ID right now huh. Naka akbay naman siya kay Luigi na nakapa mulsa lang.

"Ang ingay niyo naman!" suway ko nung magkakalapit na kami at sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.

"Oy hindi ako kasali jan!" reklamo ni Luigi at nag pout pa sakin.

"Hoy!" sigaw naman ni Harold na tumatakbo papunta samin. "Sabi kong hintayin niyo 'ko eh. Mga fake friends!" he said and punched Leoncio and Luigi softly on their biceps.

"Tssk, malamang uutusan rin kami nun ni Ms. Naz! Kaya mas mabuti nang umalis kami doon" mataray na sagot ni Leoncio.

"Agree." sabi ni Luigi

"Hello, Ms. President baka gusto mong mag celebrate? Wide open yung canteen at welcome na welcome tayo doon and ayun" Harold tried to persuade me and pouted to the direction of the fruit salad stand.

Lahat naman kami napa-tingin saglit doon sa fruit salad stand, at pagbalik ko ng tingin sa kanila eh lahat na nakatingin sakin. They even smiled at me for more than a minute as their brows went up and down.

I just rolled my eyes at them and crossed my arms infront of my chest.

"Kunin ko lang wallet ko sa bag and yung sandwich ko, reserve us a table there and order na kayo don" I told them.

"Yes! God, thank you for this angel you have given us," Harold said as he looked up into the sky, closing his eyes and clasped his hands.

"Amen." Leoncio and Luigi said in chorus as they clasped their hands together and closed their eyes like Harold did. Mga pasaway talaga!

"Ewan ko sainyo!" I told them before I took my leave to get back to our classroom.

I even smile and wave my hand to the students I know as I pass by them. Binilisan ko na lang lakad ko para maka balik na ako sa mga kaibigan ko.

"Hey," I said softly when I went inside the room. Nakita ko roon si Niq na nakaupo sa upuan niya, mag-isa na lang siya dito sa room na nakatakip ng panyo sa mata niya.

"Uy, what's up?" he asked at mabilis na inalis yung nakatakip sa mga mata niya.

"Nothing, ano ginagawa mo rito?" I asked.

"Ah wala, vacant tayo for 2 hours eh. Wala rin naman akong balak sa clinic matulog tsaka hindi ko alam kung nasaan yung tatlo" he said and pointed at the notification board. There was a short message written by our teacher, it says that there will be a meeting with all the departments and after that for each department. Two meetings straight so walang papasok na Teacher samin and last two hours na lang naman ang class namin this morning tapos lunch break na.
