Chapter 3 - Asking her out

*Opens the door and enters*

'Finally home.'

'Well, at least something happened in school today.'

'That reminds me...'

'Today is Thursday. Wow, weekends are already here.'

'Maybe I should hang out with Haruki and Kaori tomorrow. I can invite Amaya too and introduce her to them.'

*Sigh*

'I'm hungry, I totally forgot about lunch. I'll just go cook dinner now and check on my work.'

'No part-time gig today, so I can focus on my main job.'

'Things have been going too well and too messed up at the same time recently.'

'Dinner's done, work's done, and I still got time before I go to bed...'

'Eh, doesn't matter anyways. Tomorrow's a day off.'

'Ah! That reminds me! I totally forgot to ask Amaya for her number or any sort of social media to text her!' 

'For fuck's sake.'

*Sigh*

'How am I gonna ask her if she's free tomorrow or not...?'

'I think Kaori has her number. I should ask her.'

*Calls Kaori on phone*

"Hello."

"What's up?", asked Kaori.

'Sorry to bother you, but do you have Amaya's number?'

"How cute.", said Kaori with a giggle.

'Oh God...'

"I have her number, pictures, social media, and other information too if you would like.", said Amaya while giggling.

'Why do you do this?'

*Sigh*

'Anyways, text me her number and social media.'

"Okay! Let me know how your date goes tomorrow! Oh, and don't worry about inviting me and Haruki because I already got plans and Haruki's busy too.", said Amaya and cut the call.

'Wait-'

'That bastard.'

'But What the hell?! How did she know?! I mean, it's not a date! Did she predict all that shit?!'

'Sometimes, she's scary.'

'Ugh, it's just two friends hanging out with each other.'

*Sigh*

'Well, I got Amaya's number though. Let me ask her if she's free tomorrow.'

*Calls Amaya on phone*

'Hey.'

"Loke?", said Amaya.

'Yeah it's me. And you sound really different on phone.'

'Wow.'

*Heh*

"Hehe. How did you get my number though?", asked Amaya.

'I asked Kaori for it. Say, how do you know her anyway?'

"Oh we two kinda bumped onto each other during the entrance ceremony and started talking afterwards. We became good friends.", said Amaya.

'I see.'

'Well, I wanted to ask you if you're free tomorrow? We could maybe go out or something?'

"Oh, um..."

"Yes, I'm free tomorrow and..."

"Sure! I'd love to."

"It's been a while I went out with a friend.", said Amaya with joy.

I could tell she was smiling and the fact that I asked her to hang out with me made her really happy.

It was nice to hear that.

I felt excited for tomorrow.

For some reason.

I guess, I just want something to happen? I don't know and I probably don't care.

"Thanks for asking me.", said Amaya.

'You really need to stop being formal.'

*Laughs slightly*

"Maybe someday.", said Amaya with a slight laughter.

'Anyways, so I'll be at your house by 9 AM then?'

"Yes. That sounds perfect.", said Amaya.

'I'll meet you at your house and then we'll go wherever we want. We can decide that later.'

'Although, I do have one plan at the end, I know a place we definitely should visit tomorrow night. It's really pretty and beautiful. And since we got the day off, we should take advantage of it and not miss this.'

"Oh my. It sounds really amazing! I'm really curious now."

"What is it?", asked Amaya.

'I think I'm going to keep it as a surprise for now. You'll find out tomorrow.'

"Aw. Fair enough. It better be nice.", said Amaya.

'Don't worry. You won't be disappointed.'

'Alright. See you tomorrow then?'

"Yup. See you tomorrow."

"Goodnight.", said Amaya.

'Goodnight.'

*Cuts the call*

'Well, now that's taken care of, I'm just going to play some games and then head to bed.'

'Tomorrow should be fun. Can't wait.'

'It's been a while I had a break too.'

I had no idea tomorrow just wasn't going to be fun and all. My day off with Amaya turned out to be really unexpected for me and it really was surprising. Things went too interesting and well.

Nonetheless, I didn't see that one coming.
