your face fell to the ground as you heard the sorting hat say griffindor. In that moment you realised that you have no friends In gryffindor and that pansy is in slytherin and Luna is in ravenclaw. A wave of emotion flooded your head, you became so overwhelmed in that second that you blocked out everything and it all went dark. The last thing that you could hear and see was whispering between the professors. When you awakened you were in the griffindor common room on the sofa, as you sat up, you could hear the crackle sounds from the fireplace and some familiar faces. There standing infront of you was Harry Potter, Ron weasley, the ginger twins who you don't know the name of and another girl who looked about your age and the same height as you, she had brown eyes and fluffy curly light brown hair. "hello y/n, professor mcgonagall and professor dumbledore told us to look after you. I'm Harry, this is Hermione, Ron, Fred and George."
"You took a bit of a nasty fall back there." Said the twins at the same time.
"Am I hallucinating or is there two of you standing in front of me?" you say.
they all stand there looking at each other and laughing.
"no don't worry y/n, we're twins, I'm Fred and he's George, we are both Ron's older brothers." They say scruffing his hair up.
"hey boys don't play tricks on the poor girl, she's only just woken up, they were lying to you y/n, he's George and that's Fred." says Hermione.
"why am I laying here, I don't remember much?" you ask.
"you reacted funny when the sorting hat said gryffindor and then yo-."
before he could finish his sentence, you felt like you were going to throw up and became overwhelmed again.
"oh no, I've just realised my mother is going to be so disappointed and upset when she find out I'm in gryffindor not slytherin. I can't believe it." you say in a swift tone.
"Don't worry y/n, we will work this all out in the morning, it's better if you get to sleep today. the teachers are confused as to why you are in gryffindor aswell, they think the sorting hat might be wrong for once which has never ever ever happened before!" said ron in a panicked voice.
"gosh Ron, stop your going to make y/n scared! don't worry about it y/n, it's all going to be okay." said Hermione again.
you think to yourself about everything that has happened today and start to drift off into a deep sleep.
