Ch. 21

"Michael, where's Daisy?"
"I don't know man, I think she left." Fuck, I can't believe this is happening. I ran down the stairs and found Jess, "hey where are my keys? I need to find Daisy."
"No way man, you're trashed."
"Give me my fucking keys!"
"No."
"Fuck you, this is Daisy I need to fucking find her!" I grabbed her purse from her side and dug my keys out, throwing her purse to the floor.
"Calum!"
Ignoring her I ran to my car and peeled away from ashtons house. I need to find her, she's the love of my life and I need to let her know that I need her more than anything.

I started to drive around the blocks hoping she hadn't gone far but I couldn't Fucking find her, and I started to get frustrated. My vision was blurry already and the tears that were beginning to pool in the corners of my eyes were not helping at all.
I started to drive faster and faster, turning onto a main road hoping she was headed to that little place she always went to when we fought.
I picked up the speed again but the lights switched and I nearly crashed into another car. I swerved and successfully avoided them but ended up crashing into a fucking fire hydrant.

"Fuck!" I screamed, hitting the steering wheel. People were rushing to check on me, but I just kept sobbing into my wheel. I could taste blood but I didn't fucking care.
"Sir are you okay? Are you still alive?"
"Yeah, I'm alright. Thanks, can you call a tow? Or the cops I guess?"

The cops finally got there and the paramedics cleaned me up a little giving me that little blanket that I always see them give people in movies. I looked over at the cross walk and I spotted my red haired girlfriend running across the street.
"Daisy!" As I screamed her name she stopped in her tracks turning around and I bolted over to her,

"Baby? You okay? Daisy, hey talk to me Babygirl."
"I'm okay, are you hurt? Did you crash? Calum I'm so sorry. I love you so much. I love you so fucking much babe. I'm so sorry, please don't hate me. I didn't think you would come looking-" i cut her off and pulled her into the tightest hug I could possibly give her without killing her.
"Shh, it's okay. I'm not hurt, I just crashed into a hydrant. I love you, calm down."
"Are you gonna be in trouble?"

"A DUI and a ticket from the city. Some community service too. But never mind that shit. Look, I almost died tonight for you. I heard you left so I got up and stole my keys from Jess and went after you because I love you, we're young and we're dumb but I don't give a fuck. You're it, you are my forever Daisy. I'm sorry for what I said tonight and I'm sorry that I've said fucked up shit, it's no excuse that I was drunk but it was what made me say it. You are the most beautiful girl I've ever fucking seen, I can't picture myself ever loving anybody else because you're the only person I've ever loved this way and I've loved you for years. I can never picture myself fucking another girl because you're the only one I need, it's not just 'fucking' with you either, it's more than that. You know how people always say that you can take your clothes off and have sex with anyone? But to open your soul and yourself up to someone, to let them know everything that makes you vulnerable, is to truly be naked? That's what this is Daisy! I'm truly naked with you, you know more about me than I do and I cannot picture a day on earth with out you. We still have six months until we graduate but I want you to fucking marry me. Marry me, move in with me. We can get a shitty apartment and a dog for fucks sake, just please never leave."

The words just started pouring out of my mouth as if someone had left the tap on. At this point I was crying, sobbing even, and down on my knees with her hands in mine. I know this isn't what she expected by the look on her face. She probably expected me to lose it and yell or something. I hope she understands how much I love her now.
"Calum, stand up. I love you with all of my heart, okay? We need to get home so you can sober up and think about what you just said to me, we will talk about it in the morning when you wake up, okay?"
