It's been two months since the day at the hospital, Liz came home. She had a pretty bad case of pneumonia but she pulled through okay. It kills me to see Luke and Daisy together. To see him sitting next to her, holding her and all the shit I should be doing. Luke and I get along for the sake of Daisy, but me and Michael have gotten closer than before these last few months.

Me, him and his new girlfriend Vivi all just hang around Ashton's house most of the time. It feels weird to third wheel with them sometimes and I wish I had daisy there with me. There's a quote, from one of Daisy's favorite movies that says "I remember that it hurt, looking at her hurt" and I never really understood it until now.

I haven't done much besides sleep and read her favorite books, watch her favorite movies and do all the things we did together. Except I do them alone now. It's been two months of hell, and I'm sure it would be easier if I didn't have to see her all the fucking time.

I forced myself up, and got ready for the day. I pulled on a ripped up Blink 182 shirt and tight black skinny jeans. I didn't bother styling my hair or anything, because I don't care about anything anymore.

I managed to walk into home room on time for probably the first time all year and I noticed Daisy was alone.

"Where's Luke?" I asked her

"That's a good question." She didn't even look up at me. She just kept her face on her desk.

"Daisy? Is everything okay?" She still won't look at me. Is she okay?

"Everything is fine, Calum. I love you." She said unconvincingly.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"Cross your heart?" Her head raised and a smile appeared on her face.

"Hope to die." She said, her smile now lighting up the whole room.

That was our thing, since seventh grade. It's been some time since we've done it so it made me equally as happy as it did her. Maybe more.

Luke never showed to class, and I expected him to be at the table at lunch but instead it was just Michael and Vivi. When we sat down they were being gross and showing too much PDA if you ask me.

"Can you guys stop being disgusting for like ten minutes so I can eat without throwing up. Thank you." Daisy said, Michael started blushing. Vivi started giggling and she took Michael's hand in hers. I think they're gonna be the ones who make it, they're so happy and in love. The way they look at each other is amazing, and it's like they can never get enough of each other. If soul mates are real then I swear, Michael has found his.

"Hey, let's go to Ashton's house after school? Or now?" Michael raised his brow.

"Now is fine with me." Daisy responded and threw the rest of her food away.

"Ditch class? Michael Clifford how dare you suggest such a thing!" Vivi yelled, her voice filled with sarcasm.

"I'm sorry, maybe you can punish me later." He responded and she attempted punched his arm but he caught her hand and intertwined their fingers instead, pulling her into him.

"They're so annoying" Daisy laughed.

"Tell me about it." I smiled.

"Alright guys, can we get going now?"

"We're coming, jeez pull the stick out of your ass!" Michael shouted.

When we got to Ashton's house he was sitting on the couch watching a rerun of friends.

"Hey ash, where's Jessica?" Daisy questioned.

Jessica moved in here a couple months ago, some shit about her parents being ass holes and her loving Ashton. I don't know.
