later that evening when chae had calmed down and after a very big lecture from her grandmother, a few compliments from fred and george, cho and luna, she began to make her way to professor umbridge's office.

a sinking feeling had settled in her stomach after remembering what harry had told her about umbridge's detentions. she knocked on the door politely whilst she silently prayed that she'd be doing something different.

the door opened and the short lady walked out, clad in pink as she usually was.

"good evening miss chang" umbridge said sweetly, the smile on her face made chae want to puke.

"good evening professor" chae said, as umbridge invited her into her office.

professor umbridge's office was the epitome of girly, it was draped in lacey covers and cloths. chae noticed several vases of dried flowers and one wall was entirely covered in ornamented plates which each had a cat on. if chae didn't hate the woman so much, the cats would've made her miss her own cat cleo.

chae noticed the little desk that was by the window and she figured she'd be sitting there, she silently made her way over to it and sat down. not daring to make eye contact with a woman she so desperately wished would disappear.

"now you are going to me doing some lines for me" the woman said sweetly, her head tilted to one side as she stared at chae, chae gulped visibly and knew immediately where this was heading much to her dismay.

"you're going to be using a rather special quill of mine" umbridge said, as she handed chae the quill, who took it gently, trying not to show umbridge any sign of fear. there was no way she'd give umbridge any more satisfaction.

the quill was long and thin and chae couldn't help but notice that the point was unusually sharp.

"i want you to write, i must not use violence" she said softly, chae subtly rolled her eyes.

"how many times?" chae grumbled.

"let's see... as long as it takes for message to sink in"

"you haven't given me any ink?"

"oh you won't be needing ink"

chae watched the woman as she sat down at her desk and began to mark which chae presumed was essays. the young girl stared at the quill and prepared herself, hoping that it was not the same quill harry had been given.
