christmas morning came quickly and chae was shaken awake by her younger sister, the girl opened one eye and saw that it was still dark outside. she groaned loudly as the warmth of her duvet enclosed her.

"piss off cho! it's still bloody dark outside!"

"chaerin! don't be like that! it's christmas morning, get up or i'll owl mum and tell her you sleep in the twins dormitory!"

chae's eyes widened as she bolted up, her legs still covered with the duvet, staring at her sister in shock.

"you wouldn't dare!"

"oh i so would!"

"you're evil you are!"

cho laughed as she sat back down on her bed, climbing under the duvet again whilst chae wrapped her dressing gown around herself.

"luna and i have been waiting to open our presents for over an hour now!" cho whined.

"i told her not to wake you, because well, you are particularly grumpy in the morning" luna commented, causing chae to playfully glare at the blonde.

"okay okay, you can open your presents now!" the older girl said whilst she tore into a present from the pile at the end of her bed.

the girls quickly demolished their piles of presents, their usually tidy dorm now covered in wrapping paper. chaerin had received a range of presents from her parents, some new books from cho, perfume from luna, earrings from her grandmother, new hair clips and a book from hermione, a box of chocolates from ron, a scarf from harry and the annual christmas sweater from molly and a lot of sweets.

"thank you for my present chae!" luna said gratefully as she held up the unicorn ornament that chae had purchased for her.

chae watched as her sister opened the present she had brought for her, smiling as her sisters eyes began to well with tears as cho stared at the beautiful locket.

"go on! open the locket!" chae encouraged as she got up, walking over to cho.

the younger chang gently opened the locket to reveal what was inside. staring up at the two girls was the photo their mother had taken of them that year on chae's sixteenth birthday, the sisters had cake frosting on their faces as chae held up her birthday cake.

cho silently wrapped her arms around her sister as the tears leaked from her eyes, chae hugged her back instantly.

"cho, it's okay, don't cry" she comforted.
