A hand waved in front of (y/n)'s face as she zoned out with her head resting on her hands. Not only was she exhausted from the game she had last night, but her brain was fried from trying to remember anything about what Ushijima had said to her also. They knew each other. That was something she never would've expected. Everything was starting to piece itself in her mind when she really thought about it. How he knew Miss Saito, how he seemed to actually care about her, how he never admitted it but was always overly protective when she was by the edge of something.
"(Y/n)!" She jumped at her friend's sudden out burst and flushed in embarrassment at the whole class looking at her.
"(Y/n), are you alright?" Her teacher asked in a soothing voice and she nodded her head slowly, bringing her textbook up to cover her face so she didn't have to see anyone.
The class continued with her multitasking with thoughts of Ushijima in her head and also the math equations she had to know how to do for a test next week.
When the bell rang, she was the last one to leave and she was surprised to see Sugawara outside the door waiting for her.
"Good morning, Suga!" She beamed but he gave her a sort of half smile, rubbing his hand over his face.
"Are you ok? I wanted to ask you this morning when I first saw you but you looked a bit out of it. Everyone's just worried. If there's something on your mind, you can always tell me." She pursed her lips and frowned in her head. Was she really that out of it?
"I do have a lot on my mind today but I didn't know it would get you guys to worry, I'm sorry." He sighed loudly at the apology and he lifted a brow up in question.
"Ok, yeah we were worried but don't apologize for that. I was hoping you would get it without me directly asking but I wanna know why you're so preoccupied mentally. If you don't want me to know then that's fine but know that I won't tell anyone else unless you give the go-ahead." She smiled at his words, starting to walk through the halls as he followed.
"It's a lot so buckle in."

"So let me get this straight. Your whole life, you've been Ushijima's childhood best friend, but you only found that out just now. You think it's related to the accident you had when you were younger but no one ever told you about it..." You nodded softly, letting Suga walk you to your classroom since he had a study period.
"That's... not what I was expecting and it's probably a lot to take in. If you want me to beat him up, I can try." He gave her a quick thumbs up and she smiled.
"Isn't that crazy? I mean why would they all keep it from me instead of letting me know. He didn't even explain it to me, he just told me and hung up."
"Yeah, I'll totally kick his ass if you say the word."
"No no, it's fine. Get to class before your late." He pouted as the 2nd year pushed him away from the door to get him started back down the hall to his own class.
"Remember no practice this week. You should get som rest if you need it. Also, I'll keep this a secret before you tell the team... if that's something you wanna do." She thanked him lightly before walking back into the classroom and being tackled by Tanaka and Nishinoya.
"As hell yeah! We got this pretty ass manager and she just happens to be in our math class." Nishinoya's outburst was so normal in the room that no one even turned their heads.
"I know right! Not only is the wonder y/n wonderful, but she's also smart, beautiful and-"
"Sigh~ what problems do you need help on for last night's homework." Their outburst subdued while some people in the room chuckled and they sulked handing their papers to her at the same time.
