Christmas Morning
AMELIAS POV
"Owen," I whispered.
"Hm?" He mumbled.
"Merry Christmas," I said.
"Merry Christmas," he smiled as he opened his eyes, "good morning."
"Good morning," I said. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek.
"I love you," he said.
"I love you too," I smiled. I got up and pulled Owen out of bed with me.
"Owen can we match today?" I asked.
"With what?" He chuckled, "We don't exactly have matching clothes."
"Wrong. We have matching pajamas," I said. He chuckled as I handed him a bag.
"You're too cute," he said. We both changed and I smiled as I walked over to him.
"We're cute matching," I said.
"We are," he chuckled as he grabbed my waist. He pulled me in for a kiss as I wrapped my arms around him.
"Come here you have to take a picture with me," I said as I walked into the bathroom.
"Amelia," he complained.
"You want to marry me, you have to deal with me on plenty of Christmases," I laughed.
"I know," he chuckled and walked over to the mirror with me and we both smiled. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek.
"Merry Christmas Beautiful," Owen said.
"Merry Christmas Handsome," I smiled.
CAROLYNS POV
Owen and Amelia are adorable. I'm not entirely okay with them getting married so young, but who am I to say anything. They love each other, and I hope it works out for them. If they want to get married young, that's their decision, it's their relationship. He's really caring for her and I hope it all works out for them because he really protects and takes care of her.
"Mom is it supposed to snow?" Amelia complained.
"Amelia honey we go over this every year," I laughed, "I cannot make it snow. The forecast only says it's going to get down to 40, so unfortunately no snow this year."
"Mom," Amelia complained. She was always a kid when it came to holidays and honestly it was still adorable.
"Are you ready to marry her?" I chuckled as I looked at Owen, "she's annoying."
"I am not!" Amelia said. Owen chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her and I smiled. I walked into the living room and Nancy and Liz were sitting on the couch.
"Mom," Nancy said.
"What?" I said.
"Are you actually letting Amelia get married?"
"Yeah," I said confused, "why?"
"She cannot get married before me! She's 20 and I'm 28!" Nancy said.
"Sounds like a personal problem really," Liz said, "it's not Amelia's fault nobody wants to marry you."
"Liz!" Nancy said.
"I can't hold off Amelia's wedding because you're single," I chuckled.
"I would have never though she would be the first one to get married!" Nancy said.
"I can't lie I thought it was going to be Derek," Liz said.
"Me too," I said.
"Stop being jealous and just be happy for her," Liz said.
"She's literally 20," Nancy said.
"We're not having this conversation on Christmas," I said.
OWENS POV
"Owen come here," Amelia said cutely and reached her hand out. She grabbed my hand and we walked upstairs.
"Where are we going?" I chuckled.
"Just follow me," she said and we walked down to her room and to her closet.
"Okay," I chuckled. She grabbed a wrapped box and handed it to me.
"Merry Christmas!" She giggled.
"Thank you," I smiled as I walked to my bag and grabbed a box for her.
"You literally proposed you didn't have to get me anything," she said, "all I want is you."
"I can return it," I shrugged. She chuckled as I handed her the box.
"Merry Christmas," I said.
"Thank you," she smiled. I unwrapped the box and opened it. I opened a book and I smiled. It was a book of all our pictures and dates from the past three years.
"I love it," I smiled as I started flipping through the pages.
"I'm glad," she smiled.
"Thank you honey," I said as I kissed her forehead.
"You're welcome," she said. She unwrapped the box and smiled as she opened the bracelet I bought.
"Aw it's so cute Owen, I love it," she said, "thank you."
"You're welcome," I said and pecked her lips.
"I love you," she said.
"I love you too," I said. I heard my phone ring and I looked over and it was Megan face timing me.
"Hey," I said as I answered.
"Are you absolutely insane? Why did you not tell me! You're getting married! And to Amelia, who I like very much. Why would you not tell me this! This is exciting Owen! You idiot why would you only tell mom," Megan complained, "oh and merry Christmas I guess."
"Megan," I laughed.
"Hi Meg," Amelia waved as she sat down next to me.
"Merry Christmas," Amelia and I both said.
"Yes Merry Christmas, but that's not the topic here. Amelia you need to get my brother to actually, I don't know, tell me about the most important things in his life!" Megan complained.
"You didn't tell her?" Amelia chuckled.
"I was going to call you tonight," I said.
"Sure," Megan said, "anyway are you visiting soon? You are the only people, and by people, I mean Amelia, who can handle all of our cousins at once. I can't do this by myself."
"We'll come visit soon, I promise," Amelia said.
"We will Megan," I chuckled, "how's mom?"
"She's good," Megan said, "so you two are getting married! When? Where? And I want to help." Amelia smiled as she leaned into me.
"You can plan the whole damn thing if you would like," Amelia laughed.
"We're going to wait a little while," I said.
"Okay," Megan nodded. Amelia cuddled into me as we continued to talk to Megan, mostly about wedding stuff. I can't wait to marry Amelia.
