Chapter 9: "New Recruit"

Adam's POV:

With that crazy bitch out of the way, we can find Y/N. We got our clothes back on, and we looked all over this place, and it's a lot bigger than we thought. But we checked every room. The last place we didn't check was the basement. We were sure she was down there. Make sense right?

Jasmine: "If she's not here, I don't know what to do."

Adam: "We'll keep searching. We will never stop, even if it kills us."

Jasmine: "I agree."

We head downstairs, and we didn't find Y/N. But we did find someone. We found David!

David: "Oh thank God, you've gotta untie me! Wait, Adam?"

Adam: "You..."

Jasmine: "You two know each other?"

Adam: "And you didn't!"

I yelled shocking Jasmine. She saw the anger in my eyes. I turned to the chair-bound David and started punching him, knocking out some of his teeth, and giving him a black eye in the process. I felt nothing but pure rage. I know what he's done, and yet he deserves the title of a father?! I don't think so!

Jasmine: "Adam, what the fuck! Stop! Stop!"

She tries to pull me away, but I throw David on the ground and start kicking him in the stomach as he did to Y/N once. I wanted him to see how he liked it!

David: "What are you doing!"

Adam: "You sorry for an excuse of a father!"

Jasmine: "Adam stop! Don't waste your energy on him! We need to find Y/N! He's not worth it!"

David: "Wait, she's not here?"

Adam: "Why are you asking? You never gave a shit before you fat slob!"

Jasmine: "Adam, listen. I just had an idea."

Adam: "If it involves leaving him, then good. Let's go."

I didn't want her "idea" to involve this man at all. Y/N, ever since we started dating, she's told me all about David, and how he treated her. But when she mentioned the time he kicked her in the stomach when she was a child! That's already unforgivable. I should just kill him now! He's no use, he's just a waste.

Jasmine: "No, maybe he might know that woman that took Katherine."

David: "Who was it?"

Jasmine: "A tall brunette, slightly older than Katherine."

David: "That's Eileen!"

Jasmine: "Can you tell us where she lives?"

David: "I can..."

...

Adam: "WELL?!"

David: "Untie me first."

Adam: "Oh hell no! You're not coming with us!"

Jasmine: "If it means getting Y/N back, we have to."

I thought about it, and I still had half a mind to leave him here, but I agree... we can't. If he knows where that other woman lives, we can go get Y/N.

Adam: "Fine."

We untie David, and we head back outside to our car. Before we were ready to leave, David told us to give him a minute. He ran inside and came out with a vest, a couple of guns, and a gasoline canister.

Adam: "Ok, so where are they living?"

David: "Let me drive first, I know a shortcut. It'll take a while, but it's the best way."

I reluctantly agreed, but I let him. But if he tries anything, I'll slit his throat.

20 Minutes later

God, this is taking a while. And David is going over the speed limit. And there's something off about him. It's like he does want to save Y/N. Did he all of a sudden change?

Jasmine: "You seem to be in a hurry."

David: "I am. Katherine's crazy, but she's nothing compared to Eileen. We have to get the police involved ensuring we don't die. And I really don't want Y/N to get hurt in the process."

Adam: "Oh shut the fuck up David. Since when did you start caring."

Jasmine: "Adam stop! And what are you talking about David? Eileen seemed nice when we met her. Sure, she was a little weird."

Adam: "A little?! She chloroformed her daughter right in front of us!"

David: "Adam's right. Don't fall for it. Eileen once killed her husband to raise Katherine. Katherine told me that she planned to kill me to raise Y/N on her own. But be lucky Adam."

Adam: "What do you mean?"

David: "If Katherine would've let you have sex with Y/N, Y/N would kill you after she got pregnant and raise her child all on her own."

Adam: "What the fuck are you talking about? What's this voodoo shit?"

David: "It's not voodoo, this behavior is like a trend. Eileen's mother did it before her, and so on."

Adam: "Trend? Mother's acting obsessive over their child?"

David: "It's not just women."

Jasmine: "What are you saying David? What is this "trend" you're talking about, and how do you know this?"

David: "We have an hour, so I'll explain why Katherine and Eileen are acting so obsessive. It's the historical trend called the "yandere".

Katherine's POV:

I'll be waiting for you, David. Me and my mother too. I won't let you take our baby away. I have a special grave made just for you. But I'll keep the boy alive, and maybe even the girl.
