It would, but... my whole being was set on work. Unfortunately, I had the worst mindset possible of no rest until it's done.
I continued to work, trying to get done with it in a bit. Until I got a message from my dad.
Confused, I checked it. Instantly, my face paled. I felt my breathing pick up. I felt my stomach churn.
...
I needed Raven...
My soul appeared, glowing with specks of violet magic coming from it. I could feel blue magic connect with my soul, and followed where it lead me.
I was running. I slammed the door open, shutting it just as quick. Raven looked up at me, concerned. His soul stopped glowing, as did mine.
I raced at him, hugging him quickly. Tears fell from my face, and my breathing was faster than before.
"Shhhhh... sweetie, hey... easy now, easy... I'm here... I'm here... relax, sweetheart, relax..."
Raven kept whispering to me, until I calmed down. Almost immediately after, everything went black.
Raven's P.O.V:
Milly went limp in my arms, asleep. Again.
I looked at her, before placing her in my bed. I kissed her on her forehead, and whispered.
"Sleep well, lovebird... I'll find out what made you so upset..."
I went downstairs, and saw she had a new message on her phone. I flinched, but it was the only thing that could have possibly had an effect.
It's an invasion of her privacy, but...
Should I check her phone to try and help her?
Well, sorry for not updating this book...
