The New Age

Chapter 10.

Jake's POV

I woke up to see that it was 11:30 a.m.

I was on the train to Healy, Alaska.

I was here with Annabeth. And we're on a quest to get End to join the gods side.

Well, Annabeth is. I'm not. She just thinks so. Well, every demigod and god on the enemy team (his enemy, not Y/N and Percy) believe that I am on their side.

"30 minutes left till we get to Healy!" The train commander yelled through the speakers. That woke Annabeth up.

"Ah! Oh, it's just you, how long?" She asked.

"30 minutes till we get to Healy," I inform her. She nods.

"When did you wake up?".

"A few minutes ago," Annabeth nods. She leans her head back and yawns.

"So, what's the plan?" I am amazed, I thought she had a plan or something since she is the 'famous daughter of Athena'. Guess not...

"I don't know... Get to Healy, get a car, use the car to drive to the cave where the 'smell' is, find End," She nods.

"OK, want to first get lunch?".

"Yes! I am starving!" Annabeth smiles.

"We can get lunch, explore the town, then get a cab or something," I nod at the idea.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are arriving at Healy, please remember to take all of your belongings, and do not leave anything behind," We heard through the speakers. I packed my backpack and put it on my bag.

"What do you have in there?" Annabeth inquired.

"Stuff, resourceful stuff," I mutter. She nods.

"Why does it seem that you hate me?" She asks. I turn to face her.

"I don't, maybe you're just tired or something, come on, we're here!" I yell and we walk out of the compartment.

We got of the train, and went to the nearest tourist place.

Once there, I asked the lady at the front for a map of the mountain and Healy. I payed her and we left.

"So, lunch?" I turned to Annabeth.

"Sure, where do we go?" I look around.

"How about we go to that Burger King?" I point. Annabeth nods and we walk over to it.

We walk inside and a waiter walks over.

"Good morning. A table for 2?" I nod. The waiter leads us to our spot which is next to a window. She gives us our sheets and walks away.

I look at the burgers. I looked at them all and chose the hamburger.

"You got something?" I ask Annabeth. She nods. I call over a waiter and tell them our orders.

"So, I want the Hamburger, plus a coke, Annabeth?" She put her sheet down.

"And I would like the Double Cheeseburger, and a Pepsi please," The waiter writes down what we ordered and takes our sheets away.

And after that we just sat there, in our seats, in the restaurant.

"So... What now?" Annabeth spoke up. I looked out of the window, then back at her.
