With You I'm Never Cold
In the cold winter nights,
Ice cold breeze swirling around,
Making my heart cold,
Skin brittle, head heavy,
Hands and legs motionless,
Eyes dusk;
But, your presence like a
Late sunrise in the winter,
Embracing my body with warmth,
Basking my heart to rhythm again,
Melting down all the ice that
Once made me hard to persist.
