december 2nd

corbyn was downstairs eating the cookies they made the previous day. he was still sad, he hates being separated from his boyfriend.

separation anxiety sucks.

so he was eating. like, a lot. nothing wrong with that at all, but he's just not used to eating as much as he is now.

he ate another cookie.

he scrolled through instagram, liking his friends posts, interacting with a few friends and watched the stories that were up on top of his feed.

there wasn't much to do, seeing as eben was back at zoe's house, jonah was probably in his room sulking about that. jordan was out with friends and jack and zach were doing god knows what. which left corbyn alone in the kitchen.

he decided to go live on instagram. he propped his phone up on the counter, and started the live. he watched the number of views go up, the comments starting to flow in. most of them just saying hi to him. "hey guys." he smiled, biting into the cookie. "how are you?" he read. "i'm good, just tired."

he watched as more comments came in.

"where is everyone? jonah's in his room, jordan's out with his friend and eben's with a friend as well. jack and zach are probably at home." he said, looking at more comments. "where's daniel? in oregon. i thought you guys knew this." he chuckled, fixing his hair.

it made the two boys upset that they couldn't publicly come forward about their relationship. they sometimes wished they could have a new life, be nobodies so they could be together, without any worry of completely ruining their careers.

but life wasn't fair.

corbyn grinned, messing around with the live until daniel's face appeared right below corbyn's. "hey corb." he was laying down in his bed, hand buried in his blond hair. he looked tired, dark bags under his eyes.

"you look tired." he pointed out, brushing the crumbs off the counter.

daniel hummed. "i am. i'm not used-" he stopped talking. he bit his lip. he knew what daniel was about to say. i'm not used to sleeping without you. "to sleeping when it's quiet out." he said casually as if he didn't almost slip up. "it's quiet over here."

"well yeah you guys live in the middle of nowhere."

"i'm just used to commotion. i was up all night last night watching supernatural. trying to catch up so y'all stop bugging me about it."

"and you didn't facetime me? i'm hurt." he mocked offense, making daniel roll his eyes.

"whatever i'll facetime you tonight and we'll watch it together." daniel suggested, reading the comments. "you guys facetime? almost daily." he shrugged like it was nothing. corbyn hummed.

"you guys are acting like we aren't best friends." he giggled lightly, picking up his fourth cookie. he was reading through more comments, completely missing daniel's undeniable fond.

after the live ended, daniel went downstairs. anna, christian and tyler were all seated on the couch, watching the television. the plopped down on the leather couch, reaching forward to grab a handful of popcorn that was on the coffee table.
