Erin and Jay were in different cities and states. She taking care of her daughter and working and he was at work. It was difficult, he loved his daughter but he had to stay away. They kept in touch almost always, Camille loved to talk to her father.

When Erin went to work she would drop her daughter off at the nanny's house. The girl was 17 years old and was in her last year, she was studying at home so Camille stayed at her house, she loved Camille, they both looked like sisters.

"Hi Kitty, I miss you" Nina says when she opens the door, she hasn't seen the child in a few weeks, she makes Camille smile, she loved the nickname. "Hi Erin"

"Oi Nina" Erin greets.

"Come with me" Nina says picking up Camille "I have a surprise for you"

"Me too" Erin's daughter says smiling, she wanted to tell Jay about how cute, cool, big, strong and funny he was. Erin says goodbye to the nanny, the daughter and leaves.

"Hi, you took too long" says Erin when Jake gets in the car.

"Hi, you missed me, right?" It causes.

"No" Erin says seriously. When she starts the car she sees a woman leaving his house. "that was why, right?" She laughs, nods and arches her eyebrow sarcastically.

"We can go?" He asks and Erin comes forward laughing.

Jake Scott, 39, dark hair, brown eyes, 1.70m. He was a good detective, but he always got in trouble but he had high-level contacts and that was why the FBI didn't dismiss him. He was a man in good condition, he was always with someone in his bed and he hated the fact that Erin never agreed to be with him, he blamed Camille, especially because Erin always mentioned that she reminded him of Jay but at the same time he loved her, he wanted that he was his daughter, he wanted Erin to be his wife, he always said that if Erin married him she would not need to work and that she could spend more time taking care of the house and the children, which was strange since the women he slept with it was none of that kind.

"How's Camille doing?" He asks.

"Going very well, she loved meeting my friends from Chicago and now she can't wait to go back so she can help her father renovate her new room" Erin says smiling. "I think it's amazing that she got attached to her father so fast, it seems that it doesn't matter if they met for a little while, their connection goes beyond that" she says with a look and a smile of gratitude. That look she had, that sparkle in her eyes only came when she saw or mentioned Halstead and it irritated Jake.

"I can't believe you're going to fall for him again, you are in different states, do you really think he will want to be with Camille?" He says frowning, he hated Jay and he hated him coming back, he thought his chances with Erin would decrease with him around, but he was wrong, his chances wouldn't decrease because Erin would never be with him, he didn't like the way sexist and egocentric of him thinking, of the women who were always in his house and he was definitely not her type. However, Jake always thought he never had a chance because of the little girl, he was going to try to be with her as soon as Camille entered school, he was in love with Erin since the day he first saw her but she stopped him right at the beginning, he was giving birth to Camille when Erin asked Hilarie to call Jay he told Hilarie he would, it was a lie because he never called Jay, he would not ruin his plans with Erin, he would take care of Camille and Erin would end up leaving him enter their lives.

"He loves her. Jay is not like that, he would do anything for his family." Erin says, she doesn't like the way her partner talks about Jay and she doesn't know why he is so aggressive.

"I would do anything for you, I was here when she was born" he says playing in the face.

"Jay just wasn't there because I didn't let him, I didn't give him the choice. And I know that you helped me, I'm very grateful for that, you're like a brother to me and an uncle that Camille loves." Erin says looking at him, he hated it when she called him a brother.
