POV Erin

I decided to tell Jay the truth, asked for a day at my job and left Cami with Hilarie and went to Chicago. I don't know how to tell Jay and I don't know his reaction but I need him to know it for me. I take a deep breath before hitting, I think about giving up, I'm afraid but I decide to face it, after all I never wanted him not to participate in her life. So I knock on the door, I didn't know what I was going to find on the other side but I certainly didn't imagine it would be Hailey with his shirt. They are together, now everything makes sense. I think about running from there the fastest, but I'm frozen, I can't move. Jay appears seconds later, he's shirtless, he's still hot as always ... Stop it, Erin, you're not here for this.

POV nobody

"Erin?" Jay approaches "what are you doing here?" Jay was angry but was curious to know what happened to her showing up at his house ten o'clock at night after 3 years without breaking the news. The weather is horrible, everything is silent.

"Sorry ... it was a mistake for me to come here this time, I should have called," she says and walks away. Jay looks at Hailey, he doesn't understand anything. Hailey goes after Erin.

"Erin .." Hailey asks to stop in the hall, they face each other. "You need to tell the truth," she asks.

"What truth?" Jay leaves and goes after them curious. The pizza delivery man arrives and is all embarrassed, a woman with eyes full of tears, another just in a shirt and a guy with no shirt, he thinks he has caught a betrayal.

"Yeah ... sorry to interrupt, but is this where they ordered pizza?" He asks awkwardly.

"Yes, take the money and you can have the pizza, excuse us" says Hailey handing over the money, he without understanding anything leaves.

"What truth?" Jay says without patience.

"We will talk tomorrow, now is not a good time" says Erin looking up and down the two and leaving.

"You come here and leave without telling me anything? Unbelievable" Jay yells when Erin turns around.

"I'm leaving and you guys talk" Hailey says, her phone rings and she walks into the house and answers it.

"Tomorrow I'll stop by and talk. I know you're mad at me but it's important" Erin says and leaves, Hailey shows up and says they have an affair.

"What were you talking about?" Jay asks as they go to the crime scene.

"This is your business, do I prefer not to get involved?" She says looking at the window, she never wanted to arrive in such a case now.

"A business of ours? We haven't had a business of ours for a long time, so I think you can tell me" he asks.

"I can't, she said she was going to tell you and she will, so let's just focus on this case." Hailey says and before Jay says anything they arrive on the scene. He is worried and afraid of what Erin has to say, he thinks if maybe she is not sick or something, it is very strange that she appears like that out of nowhere.

"Did you arrive together?" Ruzek looks at the two implying that they were already together.

"It's not a good time," Jay says and they don't understand anything but start the job. The day ends and after they solve the case Jay goes home and 30 minutes later Erin knocks on the door.

"Hi .. can I come in?" Erin asks awkwardly.

"Do I have another choice?" Jay says impatiently and lets Erin in. "you know ... I was really curious to know why after all this time you came here. Did something happen?" Even in anger he was worried.
