Going to Chicago

The next day Jay got up, tidied up and went to Erin's house as soon as she opened the door he just wanted to take her to her room, she was wearing the same walking clothes when they lived together, he missed Erin a lot.

"It's all right?" Erin asks after greeting Jay and he doesn't respond.

"All right, where's the ..." Jay comes out of the trance and is interrupted.

"Daddy" Camille runs over to him and he picks her up, Erin picks up her things and they leave and go to Central Park. Camille is running and playing in front of them while they talk.

"And that picture of her bedside?" Jay asks, he was curious to know because Camille was very comfortable with him.

"Well, when I decided to raise it myself I realized that sooner or later she would ask about you. I tried to leave our picture of when we walked in the park but I didn't think I missed it" Erin says sadly and Jay looks at her, he has the photo, it stays in his drawer, he never wanted to get rid of it but he won't tell Erin.

"Um, got it," he says thoughtfully. "Why didn't you tell me before? I know that seeing me with another one was difficult but you could have called me when she was born." Jay says.

"But I called. You said you didn't want to know us." Erin says looking at Jay.

"What?" He laughs sarcastically "I would never do that, did you call me?" He says in amazement.

"Well I actually asked my friend Hilarie to do this and that's what she gave me" Erin replies thoughtfully.

"There's something wrong, I never got a call. I wouldn't leave you or leave Camille" Jay says, he wanted to say that he loves them and that he would even change his state but he prefers not to complicate things at the moment, because they are interrupted through a call.

Erin walks away and Jay goes over to Camille to play with her.

"Sorry" Erin approaches. "I need to work things out, can you keep it?" she asks and Jay nods.

"It's OK?" He asks getting up.

"They are on a case and they need my help with an informant, it will be very quick" Erin says and kisses her daughter. "keep my key" she hands over to Jay and their hands touch, giving goosebumps to both bodies. She then leaves and leaves the two alone.

Jay and Camille play a little, he takes her in some toys and then goes out to eat. She asks for an ice cream and he shares one with her because she can't eat one alone. They spend time playing and walking around NY until Camille falls asleep. On the way back, Erin calls Jay.

E: Hi, how are you doing?

J: Well, but she got tired and slept, I'm taking her home.

E: This is good, it seems she had a lot of fun.

J: I think so. Is that you? How is it going?

E: Well ... that's why I called, the case is more complicated than I thought I'll have to stay here for a while, would you mind staying with her for a while?

J: No, it's okay, I'll wait for you at your apartment. Watch out.

E: Ok. Thank you.

Jay goes home with Camille, he puts her to bed, with nothing to do he cleans up some things in the house.
