Where Shuichi and Kokichi worked wasn't just any Walmart. Byakuya Togami's Walmart. And that was a fact. This store was only a small part of his family's massive empire of retail. However, it was a Togami asset , and that meant it must stay up to Togami standards.

So Shuichi and Kokichi quickly rushed to their destination of aisle 12. Their headsets on as they listened to Byakuya's orders. These were important pieces of equipment designed for the boss himself to be able to communicate with his employees. He could watch all that was going on in the store with the large security footage up in his office he watched carefully.

"Take a right. A lady is causing distress . Take her by surprise." He informed them via headset.

"Y-yes, sir. " muttered Saihara.

"Alrighty.." sighed Oma.

When both males rushed around the corner , they paused to take in what was happening. There was a woman crying in hysterics , waving herself around as she cried and screamed at Kaede- whom seemed to be trying to console and calm her down.

"Please ma'am. She couldn't have gotten far. I'll let our general manager know, and he'll definitely-" Kaede was cut off by the woman falling on the ground in tears.

"What is happening..?" Shuichi asked himself , blinking in some confusion as he slowly walked over, Oma not far behind and whom seemed not even fazed by this woman's actions. Kokichi had seen worst working in retail.

As both males came over to assist, Kaede sighed and frowned with sympathy to the lady. "Her ten year old daughter disappeared almost five minutes ago. I've tried looking for her , but-"

"But what ? Shouldn't you have told the boss man about it ?" interrupted not so sympathetic Kokichi. He had his arms folded behind his head and seemed to be almost... bored. He was. This stuff happens all the time, why did Kokichi need to take care of-

"Oma-kun.
Be more cautious about your tone."

"...??" Kokichi glanced over to see Shuichi staring at him. Shuichi's tone was serious, and so was the expression he was wearing. For a second, he didn't look much like a nervous employee, and more like his claimed Ultimate Dectetive part of him came into play. And for that second, Kokichi was speechless. His heart felt strange. He put his hand against his chest..

* Ba-dump *

"Anyway," Shuichi added, interrupting Kokichi's daze. "We'll help look for her. " he told Kaede , and finally then the woman look up, her tired eyes filled with some hope. She quickly got up, seeming to contain her frail and shaky figure. She seemed to be a high strung person. "Please!" She begged, bowing her head to Shuichi. "Please help me... I. I lost a child before.. I can't lose another.." she whispered.

Shuichi stood there. Then he took a breath and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry. We'll find her.." he promised. The blue-headed teen looked around and stopped at Kaede. "Right. Akamatsu-san, can you go tell someone to get on the mic and call for.." he looked at the woman whom quickly said: "Sumi." Shuichi nodded and looked back at Kaede. "And tell them for Sumi to come to the front where the resisters are." He directed. The blonde co-worker nodded and she quickly left, coating the mother to come along in case they found her daughter.

Shuichi looked over at Kokichi afterwards, his expression still cool and calm, and his voice profound.

"Oma-kun. I'm going to need your help."
