I instantly jolt at the call of my name. I realize it was my teacher Mrs. Jackson who was pulling me out of my thoughts. Great. Now everyone was staring at me waiting on me to answer.

"Mrs. Greene may you answer the question." She looked at me in disappointment.

"Um... can you say it again." I blushed of embarrassment.

"Why are the inner planets known as terrestrial planets?" She repeated.

"Because they are denser and rockier. Also they are closer to the sun." I answer with a questioning face.

She raises an eyebrow at me but finally says.

"That's correct."

After she'd said that she went back to talking, and I went back to thinking. Thinking about what it'd be like to fly. I know. Dumb thought, but I really do hate this class. So I was happy when the bell cut me out of my thoughts... I rushed out of class bumping into people, but only because my next class is really far away. I guess I was walking a little two fast because now I am sitting on the floor rubbing my head.
"Ouch." I hear a deep voice say in front of me.

"Oh my gosh. I am really sorry. I'm just trying to get to my class." I look up.

"No you're fine. I had my head down." he chuckles.

"Umm ok. Bye, I guess." I blush.

"No, see you later." he smiles.

I smile back. Oh my gosh. I just realized who I was talking to. His name is Jamie Ford. Captain of the basketball team. He's also the cutest guy in school. Every girl gawks over him each time he passes by. But every girl knows not to go near him because of his lunatic girlfriend. Marissa Bates. Head cheerleader and supposedly hottest girl in school. Head bitch in my book. She has something to say about everyone. It's bad enough we have to see her everyday. I sit down in my usual seat and wait for the class to start filling up. Just as I was about to turn around to the teacher someone plopped down beside me. I turned around so fast that I could've broken my neck.
"Hey stranger." a familiar voice said.

"Hello." I said back.

"I haven't seen you since you bumped into me." We both laughed.

"Me neither." my smile quickly faded away. " What are doing at the back of the class though with... Me." I ask frowning.

"Well someone took my seat and that girl looked like she was gonna pass out if I sat by her sooo I saw you and I decided to take the seat before someone else did." He smiled.

"Pft. Like anyone would sit by me." I say looking in the distance.

"What do you mean?"He asks confused.

"Really?" I ask sarcastically. "Did you even know me before we bumped in the hall?" I ask with one eyebrow raised.

"Well... No but that doesn't matter." He says trying to defend his self.

"That's what I thought." I end the conversation leaving him staring at me.
