I eventually had gone home but I was terrified. I found the house empty but the cracks in the wall seemed to be staring at me. I was quick to go to the phone and call my mother. She answered with no problem and asked how I was. I told her that an earthquake had happened and that our walls were cracked. She was relieved I was fine and informed me that they would return home while I was at school. I told her I was excited to see them, wished her farewell, and hung up.

Upon entering my room, I spot my diary. Oh, the things it will learn this afternoon.

I examine myself in the mirror and smile shyly. I close my eyes and take a deep breath. Everything will be alright. I open my eyes and smile bigger before going to the bathroom to freshen up. The morning goes by with a flash. I have music going on in my ears, specifically Walk This Way by Aerosmith, my bag rests on my shoulders, and there's a waffle in my mouth. I walk down the side walk, my nerves swarming in my stomach to the point it makes me sick and I have to throw away my waffle in someones trash can.

"Y/n!" I jump and turn to see Stanley in his car, the door cracked open so he can shout at me. I smile at him and jog to the other side of car, keeping an eye out for any other cars. He shuts his door as I get in. I place my bag at my feet and turn to him to wish him a good morning, but I'm pleasantly greeted with a kiss.

Stan pulls away, leaving me in a daze and smiles at my blush. "Good morning, gorgeous." He chuckles and starts driving. I place my cool finger tips on my burning cheeks and giggle.

"Good morning, handsome." I manage out, trying to calm the now butterflies in my stomach. I straighten my posture and relax into the seat, watching the houses go by. "Are you ready for today?" I suddenly ask, glancing at him. A nervous smile crosses his lips and he shakes his head.

"Hell no. Are you?" I shake my head, a frown tugging at my lips. He reaches out and rubs my arm. "It'll be alright." I take a deep breath and nod.

"I know it will." We share a smile and go silent, trying to enjoy the rest of the ride.

Stan parks at the school and we climb out. I along my bag over my shoulder and look up at the school. Lets get this over with. I start towards the school and Stan is quick to follow. As we enter, he slips his palm against mine and intertwines our fingers. I nearly die on the spot. Walking further into the building, we separate to go to our lockers and agree to meet up later.

I put in my locker combination and open my locker. On the door of my locker is a small magnetic mirror and two pictures. One of Stan and I as kids, sticks in our hands as we played pirates. The second is Silver and I pretending we got caught making out, lipstick smeared across our faces and both of our expressions holding shock. I chuckle at the images and grab my needed text book.

"Now, tell me if I'm wrong, but I just saw you and Stan the man holding hands." Speak of the devil. I close my locker to reveal a grinning Silver, leaning against the lockers with crossed arms. I giggle and roll my eyes.
