JILY "Alright Evans???"

Chapter 4

It was the day of departure for the summer holidays and all the students were sitting in the great hall having breakfast

Sirius was sitting across me with Peter to his right while Remus was making the final arrangements for our grand prank.

" What do you think?,  will everything go according to the plan." Sirius spoke breaking the tension between us while Pete was busy watching our surroundings.

Five minutes later, Remus walks in giving us a reassuring smile and settles to Sirius's left kissing Sirius on his head.

"Moony! Is everything alright? " Sirius asks him and Remus raises his thumb. And hugs Sirius sideways.

Sirius moves closer to Remus and starts chewing on his sandwich.

"So when do we start? " asks Peter anxiously still looking in all directions but finding time to stuff himself with eggs and bacon.

"when we see fit" Remus answere's pulling his jumper sleeves upwards preparing to cast the spell.

I was fiddling with some bacon in my plate and holding my wand in my left arm to cast the protective charm on the marauders.

Just then as on cue Lily enters the hall and settles down on the table with her friends Marlene, Mary, Alice and Frank who was currently dating Alice.

She picks up a piece of toast and starts  applying jam. She was wearing a white shirt with dark denims, school robes on top and her red hair was pulled up in a messy bun.

"uhumm" Remus clears his throat to gain my attention and I look up at him.

He was looking at me for confirmation. I look around and make sure that no one was looking at us.

I give him a wink and he pull away from Sirius slowly muttering an incantation.

Peter who was looking all around till now suddenly found his breakfast interesting and Sirius's eyes shone with a mischievous glint.

Suddenly 6 Griffins(eagle's head and lions body) flew into the great hall as I point my wand towards the door locking it.

The student were all in a frenzy and startled by the arrival of the Griffins and start running towards the door only to find it locked.

Some older students take out their wands and start attacking them but with each attack, they multiply. Dumbledore was smiling at the chaos and Professor Mcgonagall along with Professor Flitwick were shouting at the students to settle down.

One of the Griffin lands on the slytherin table across snape, it starts spraying shampoo on him. He tries to use his wand but another one from air starts spraying shampoo in his direction again.

Remus was holding in his laughter while Sirius started shouting shampoo threats to Snape. Peter was looking elated that the plan started well.

Now there were 21 Griffins and they all start spraying shampoo as I cast a repelling charm on the Marauders and Lily which earned me a shocking glare from Lily and Sirius's shouts about betrayal.

Soon, everyone was covered in shampoo while I nod again to Remus who mutters another spell to which the Griffins stop spraying shampoo and start spraying water.

"hey snivellus!! Why don't you wash your underpants now" Sirius shouts to Snape and the whole hall burst out laughing including Lily.

Soon the hall was filled with bubbles and yells from students and professors alike.

Dumbledore was making a decent crown with the foam on his head and his eyes were twinkling. He looked up at me and winked before flicking his wand and clearing the whole mess at once as the transfigured Griffins turned to brooms and assembled themselves along the wall.

everyone in the Great Hall were wet as they look up at the only five students in the room who were completely unfazed.

"There is the prank we've been expecting from the marauders" announced Dumbledore smiling towards us as Professor Mcgonagall stared at us whit raging eyes, her lips a straight line, while Slughorn was drying his bald head with his wand.

"Now that we're finished, I suggest you all to go get dressed up before you leave and I wish you a happy summer vacation. Now off you go" he waved his hands to dismiss the students.

Dedicated to abbilovegood the first fanfic I read in Jily. We don't know each other but her work inspired me to write something and I'm grateful for that.
She's my first follower and it remains that way no matter which way the book goes.
